Its been a huge setback getting relegated back to league 2 after such a bright start to the season but i suppose in a way the writing was on the wall with all the heavy defeats away from home in december and january and the signing of young unproven players in the january window. I was still shocked that dc was sacked this week but thats the price of failure i suppose? The new manager lee johnson hasnt wasted any time having a big clear out and im sure he will be bringing new players in to get us back into league 1 asap. Its great that hes released sinclair, lines, ollie clarke and ellis harrision as we need to just start from scratch and build for the future. The bad news about the collapse of the new stadium at the uwe isnt the end of the world as wael has indicated they are looking at new sites. The new training ground will of course be developed as and when funds are available in line with sustainability. Will dubey has also left the club and we wish him well as has steve yates and mike stowell as the club believes there roles can be covered by other members of staff. We would like to stress that lee will have a competitive budget for league 2 and has already moved quickly to sign 43 year old striker wilbraham to bolster the club.

Go home, you're drunk...
Why all the negative vibes? I really don't get it.

Umm! In two and a half years 2 promotions and sitting in top half of where we have been for most of our lives! What is there not to like. Mustn't be complacent but you're sounding like a WUM. UTG!

Relegation isn't going to happen, but even if the entire squad was hit with a dose of galloping trots that lasted 4 months and we didn't pick up a single point between now and the end of the season and did get relegated, I'd still stick with Clarke, in football manager terms he's still a young man learning his trade, his best years are still in front of him.

The op is a dystopian take on nagging worries and fears that recent events and non events at the club have caused me to have. Its a worse case scenario thread and obviously lee johnson will not become our manager.

You forgot to have DC fling himself in front of the ted's open-topped Premiership promotional tour bus and Wael hitting such hard times that he's forced to take his entire family and squat in Santa's grotto, but as a demoralising fairy tale, it's getting there. How about having Radish take charge of the crew that have infiltrated The Mem to poison the pasties? Now supplied by Stainsbury's, obviously... As anything approaching a nod towards reality, it's only about a million miles out.

I read it as a decent piss take of all the negativity on forums at the moment when we are 9th in the Lge and entertaining the home fans well. The UWE is going to fail, players are going to leave, going to get relegated, etc. the reality will probably be somewhere along the lines of mid-table finish in first season back, some talented players still here, some talented staff, trg ground/academy will be a success (but will take ages to filter through - they all do), and UWE will go ahead but will take a while.

It is but there is a little creeping fear in me that some of it could happen or at least that maybe "the new dawn" dosnt quite happen,so yes your "reality" is more likely i very much hope.
