So you make six changes to a winning side in which you have two midfielders with virtually no match fitness. You bring on two forwards to replace s two forwards that started the game and so we have an aging and not match fit midfielders when trying to chase the game. Sometimes I wonder what goes on n DC's mind. Glad I am too ill to go to the match now.

4-1 Magennis hat trick...Puddy at fault He may be at fault for that goal but DC has got to take the blame for the selection and result. Madness in terms of team selection today.

I wasnt sure about the midfield and most suprised about Ollie Clarke. Would be interesting if he was struggling

No criticism from me, didn't feel like a midfield that could get a result. Love swampy and his attitude, but he's not a div 1 player in an ambitious team. Mans also unproven at this level, good guy but the two of them, sorry we were never going to get a result.

Shocking defending by the sounds of it. The back 4 plus keeper have been unchanged for the last 3 games, changes had nothing to do with the result, if anything i think more changes should have been made, Hartley & Leadbitter could have done with a rest. Keeper, Defender, Midfielder & Striker to come in over the next few weeks in this window a top priority, lets hope we spend rather hiding behind the evolution not revolution soundbite.

We won't have to wait long to see. Awful selection today and I think DC has to take this one. You can't keep chopping and changing the team so often but not even I thought he would make SIX changes.

DC's fault - no defending him today, 6 changes from a confident side; silly and just a bit to clever for his own good.

Rovers better team in first half. Stroked it around nicely. Second half awful. Defending and goalkeeping poor Old midfielders outclassed. Team on paper looked poor and so it proved

I trust DC will apologise to the travelling fans who have wasted a day and money . If you watch a show you expect to see the main performers not their understudies..I hope the Board talk to him quietly and not publicly like he criticises the players.

All very strange.
There's a horrible cold going around, maybe a few players are a bit under the weather and that's why they were left out, if that's not the case then it would be interesting to look the manager in the eye and ask if he believes that, with that team selection, he gave us the best possible chance of winning today's game?

No apology, DC slaughtered Tom for not picking up his player at two set pieces, acknowledged that our defending was awful, then went on to say how well players like Liam Lawrence, Easter and Manse played; Really !

Just heading home now. We played okay in the first half, Charlton got right on top in the second. During the course of a season you will normally get the occasional to king, today was on eof those days.

9-2 to Charlton on aggregate for the season! I'm guessing that's the worst in a season since we played Tottenham a very long time ago?

Lawrence has made 2 cameo appearances. Mansell 4 appearances (some as sub). Sinclair hasn't played for 3 weeks, and they get picked in front of the midfield that has won the last 2 games. Regardless of what DC said, it was his choice that lost us the game. Charlton always play with pace, and to put it bluntly I have more pace than either Mansell or Lawrence. regarding Lockyer, it is DC's choice to play him every game and it was Dc's choice to make him captain (bad choice imho) Why DC cannot put his hands up and say "that was down to me" I don't know

When we saw the team sheet at 2:30 pm that awful gut wrenching feeling of " Why did I come away today" when I should really have spent the last day of the holidays with the family. I actually felt let down with the team selection and simply couldn't explain it to my lad especially after the last two games, Bodin left on the bench and no Matty Taylor until second half? I haven't heard D.C. Yet but can imagine he hasn't taken any responsibility for today when in truth I think it should sit entirely with him, pretty sure Billy Sharp and Simon Cox would have started again today. Can imagine Keith Brookman passing him fact after fact to reassure everyone how great he has been over the last two years. I actually think he has become quite arrogant especially in interview and will be interesting to see how the next months transfer dealing goes. A chap was saying in front of us that his first two choices of midfielders have turned him down which provoked the usual source argument but worrying if true.
