Hi fellow gasheads, as I sit here in the Welly surrounded by Barrow fans I thought the time was right to get this show on the road. At least they have brought more than Crawley. Let's get the win today and put5us back5on the right road. As I write Curzon Ashton are beating the Wombles 2-0. UTG.

Won't go to Wellie, sorry.. In Gas bar, quieter than normal, expect 3-4000.
Luke James starts! Again! Good choice, I like him. Maybe he can do a Jason Roberts v Wellling and score to spark his Gas career?
Gas to shade a tough huff and puff 1-0.
COME ON YOU BLUES!

BBC pictures on BBC1 are a minute or so ahead of the Radio Bristol online commentary!
Yet the BBC coverage keeps switching to another game, it seems, just as Rovers start an attack!
Come on Gas!

Well not quite as embarrassing as Chesham but still pathetic to lose at home for the second year on the trot to non league opposition. Mr Clarke and the team under pressure for the first time since the early games of the Conference. This is now officially a poor run of form and this needs to be reveresed soon.

Well done, Barrow! But really not good enough from Rovers going out to a non-league side again, FFS! I hoping for at least the 3rd round this year.

What a mess.
Can't defend, players have obviously been told not to try to counter attack but to go backwards, sideways, backwards some more, out wide, then backwards again, then eventually to a wide man who can't cross the ball.
Maybe seeing those tactics dealt with easily by a park team will make Clarke realise that they aren't good enough? But I wouldn't bet on it, we'll be doing the exact same thing again on Saturday.
Darrel, you may be happy to pay to watch it, I would quite like my tenner and my 2 hours back, it was dire... again.

Three points Saturday is now a must.
For confidence more than anything.

I'm getting that uneasy feeling that the first wheel is starting to come off. Major surgery is needed on that squad and it won't be a cheap fix.

We certainly need a keeper who talks and a midfield general. For all his ability, Lines disapoints when the going gets tough for me. He is the senior player in this team. Where was he demanding the ball and trying to drive the team forward

I thought the match sponsors got their point across to DC quite well though. UTG.

Utter disgrace.
Barrow were nothing but bullying carthores playing archaic percentage football, but they played with something we lacked...heart and bollocks. There game management was also streets ahead. I'm convinced something has gone off behind the scenes with DC and Mansell because he would've been perfect for a game like today.
Christ knows what DC was doing with the subs, Gaffney was clearly limping and we use up the subs with 30 minutes to go. Reactive subs and a third different formation in 10 minutes, really? Sinclair was running round like a dynamo and winning the ball, all we needed to do was bring on Easter for James and sit him behind Gaffney and Ellis to give us a bit of experience and technical quality on the ball.
We need this recruitment expert we've got on the board to come into his own now, because the summer recruitment is now looking shambolic. I'm not sure any of them would get in our best XI. As a starter for ten we need a new GK the second the last note of auld lang syne has been belted out.

This result has a real deja vu feeling to it. In fact I even had a silly NZ$10 (£5) on it at 6-1 and that's the first time I've ever bet against Rovers.
Agree we'll need to use the transfer window extensively but wisely in January or it will be mid table obscurity at best or even dicing with another drop into League Two (God forbid).
