Loving the fact that s**theads are starting to panic now that Abraham's goals have inevitably dried up and they are now searching for another striker to bolster their doubtless failed attempt to get into the playoffs Taylor has been mentioned that's the thread they can f**k right off.

So if 1982 Ltd offered £10m cash up front for him are you really saying we should turn it down?

its very possible that taylor has a release clause triggered by an offer of a certain amount ie £700,000,so that any clubs that meets that amount could then talk to taylor and offer him a contract.

Yep I'm enjoying it as well while it lasts - just need Taylor to keep scoring so they can't call us a one man team and they continue to covet our striker believing in their arrogance they just have to snap their six fingers and he'll go running to them

Seeing as he almost signed for Oxford in the summer I doubt he'd rang around if the 82ers did snap their fingers?

Why on earth would a player go from a club in League 1 to a club in the Championship in the same city for more money and play in bigger games.
Just doesn't make sense does it? What on earth would he be thinking?

That you have to refer to a game 26 years ago probably says something about the state your football club has been in for a quarter of a century...

Yep fair to say we've plunged the depths since then...but That was the biggest Bristol derby (albeit played in another City) ever. If its all the same with you I won't stop mentioning it. Still rankles don't it?

That would be the quarter of a century during which Lansdown has spent the thick end of £200m (and counting) and so far all he has to show for it is the most expensive cup of tea in the country and in the football pyramid you are a 'massive' 24 places above a club that you openly mock. But as you rightly point out, we are a bit down at heel right now, we'll be back above you within the next couple of years. Mind the gap

Fancy that massssssive club needing a striker from that 'lower league irrelevant club' to regularly stick the ball in the net.
I'm more than aware it was nothing bit Sh\thausen click bait, but one of my sheedhead colleagues was convinced yesterday he was on his way there. "No doubts about it".
Strange.

People can you please stop calling them a club, they are now a small part of a massive franchise that we should be in awe of. £200 million spent and feck all to show for it. I have some work I need to do on my flat so I was wondering if I could get a discount at their B&Q stadium. We may be small but we are feisty and proud. UTG

Our crowds have always been pretty much the same, if not slightly better when compared to years when we've been in Bristol and in the same division. When playing in showpiece events we take roughly the same number of people. The 2 main differences are; They thought we were dead and buried, we came back under our own stem, they hate it. The only reason they are a whole 1 division above us is that Lansdown has pumped a staggering amount of money into them. Even Buckle could get a team out of L1 in the next division up with the sum Lansdown has blown achieving it. We've never been bankrupt, that means our history extends back beyond 1982, theirs doesn't, they don't like being reminded of that much either. Pesky facts eh Kaiser

Any team could get to the Championship or higher with the money you have spent. Atleast we have got were we are with team spirit and togetherness. Obviously I would swap divisions, however, I wouldn't swap the way we have got there and I'm glad we're not a franchise.

As for us we know there will be bumps in the road, but we are coming for you. As night follows day.We are coming. Mind the gap because, before you know it, it will be gone. UTG

Been a bit quiet on your own s**t run though. Good to see you can emerge from the cess pit once in a while. When you have something useful, incisive and worth debating please feel free to add it here.
