Met some fellow Gasheads in a pub just outside Southampton. Problem was, we were returning home to Bristol they were going to the game thinking it was a 3:00pm ko. We laughed all the way home. Not sure they did.

Our earliest ever kick off was on the 1st of December 1883 when we were pumped 6-0 by Wotton-under-Edge. Crawley on Saturday is currently our latest ever kick off.

Monday 27th March 1978,Rovers had played at Palace on the Saturday and there were special trains to both games. I think the price for the trains was £2.50 ,that was for the 2 games not each. Considering there was 1st division being played in Bristol and Rovers seemed to get battered at every away game the away support was brilliant...what were we on ?...happy days.
