Given that a club needs to sell tickets to survive, why is the Rover's system so crap? Tickets for Crawley on Nov 5th went on sale at 9.00am this morning. At 11.00 they are still not online. Phoned the ticket office 8 times but only get an answering machine. Emailed Clare who replied "Busy, keep trying". Arghhh!
Just tried 9th time - answering machine.

The club shop is woefully inadequate and antiquated in my opinion.
In other news I like words including the letter Q.

It's quite quintessential. I think there will be quality quips on this thread.

Maybe he can't get to the club shop and join the back of the line.

You can relax, this one probably won't sell too many. You'll be at the game, it's fine.

Finally got a call back and ticket now on it's way. Glad it wasn't a big game. For a club aspiring to greater things, we need better than a non-league ticket system.

We all know that things need to be improved in a whole lot of areas. We have started with the training and medical staff and no doubt will address other areas in due course.
As they say Rome was not built in a day.

Is there really a rush to get tickets for Crawley?

There is no evidence either way suggesting was or was not built in a day.

True, but the more tickets that are sold, the more money available to build Rome.

At a bargain price too might I add.
Clare and Kay are doing their best bear with them ...its half term so loads of kids to serve their Halloween shirts and free tickets for Fleetwood.

Staff were too busy to take your call in person. You left a message and not only got a call back but your ticket query was resolved in 45 minutes. I think that's a pretty good system that worked exactly as it was set up to. No doubt that improvements will be made in time, to further improve the system and speed at which tickets are made available online.

I'm not criticising the ticket office staff. They have to work with the system they are given and obviously do their best. But is a system where you have to phone up and wait for a call back the best we can do? Even Forest Green have an efficient online system where you can print your own ticket at home.
Here we are, in 2016, in the play off zone for the Championship, with a 1970s ticketing system.

Granted, the match you want isn't there - yet. In regards to how we currently operate, the type of demand we have for most matches is not (usually) let down by the system currently in place. Can it be improved? For sure. Will it be improved? Almost definitely. When will that be? We don't know.

I'm guessing they don't have a barcode scanning system so wouldn't allow that. As we also don't have a barcode scanning system why would we have an option to print at home? I'm sure both the new and old guard will or would've addressed this in the new stadium . PS I'm presuming we've sold out Crawley by now?
