So 2,117 attended a cup tie so approx 500 boycotted therefore about 500 x £5 revenue was lost. Could have been much worse as other Clubs discovered.
1. Rovers won on penalties with the perfect FIVE....Rovers Penalty Takers: Luke James, Billy Bodin, Matty Taylor, Charlie Colkett and Cristian Montano. Our first perfect FIVE since the famous Conference play off final at Wembley.
2. Our first CLEAN SHEET since 11 Aug against Cardiff City in league cup.
3. SIX CHANGES made under the tournament rules and by and large all did well particularly James Clarke, Cristian Montano and Luke James.
4. THREE SUBS all scored important penalties. Bodin,Taylor & Colkett.
5.I felt the Yeovil Town number 5 the amazingly named BEVIS MUGABI ...lost it in the last FIVE SECONDS and assaulted young Charlie Colkett on the touchline and could with stronger reffing should in my opinion of been the second Yeovil player to be red carded.
6. Colkett's contribution during his brief spell on as sub was highly significant and his confidence in spraying balls around was great on the eye. We and Chelsea certainly have a talented player of immense ability.
7. Roos proved to be the penalty hero and throughout the whole match looked calm and assured.
8. Yeovil defended well and did not look like a Club struggling in League Two. Their second choice keeper Maddison was man of the match for them. While I feel Colkett was our Man of the match.
9. It was good to see the match from an unfamiliar West Stand viewpoint and the second half was entertaining and provide the majority of those there with a welcome victory.
10. Bring on Pompey on my birthday ! A trip to see the Mary Rose and a win at Fratton Park on 8 November whats not to like !

In 2012, when we were a bit s**t and had made a bad start to the season, off the back of a 0-3 home defeat to Morecambe which was one of the all time worst performances I can remember, and at a time of zero optimism about the future of the club, we attracted a crowd of 2810 to this exact feature. In October 2001 the same fixture in the same competition attracted 4301. So I think you've significantly, predictably and deliberately downplayed the boycott. And it wasn't a victory. It was a draw!

think you might find that the Mary Rose sunk some time ago Henry VIII's warship, MARY ROSE lost in 1545, recovered in 1982 and now on display in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Might have to boycott the Dockyard !

Does anyone know (care?) if we are likely to progress in this dog poo competition? Not seen anything in the way of table or indication of what result me might need at Pompey to prolong the agony.

Does anyone know (care?) if we are likely to progress in this dog poo competition? Not seen anything in the way of table or indication of what result me might need at Pompey to prolong the agony. I decided to waste some time to examine Rovers' chances of proceeding into the knock-out stages of the competition.
| Yeovil Win | Yeovil Win Pen | Yeovil Lose Pen | Yeovil Lose | Rovers Win | Goal Diff | Go Out | Goal Diff | Progress | Rovers Win Pen | Go Out | Go Out | Go Out | Goal Diff | Rovers Lose Pen | Go Out | Go Out | Go Out | Go Out | Rovers Lose | Go Out | Go Out | Go Out | Go Out |
One of the features of this ill-conceived format is that the teams at the top end of the mini-League (Reading and Yeovil) could "agree" to engineer a result in the final match to ensure that both clubs progress, whatever the outcome of the match between those at the bottom (Rovers and Pompey). (You know, similar to what C*&y 1897 did at Coventry to ensure that Sunderland went down in 1977). Read more: gasheads.org/thread/5687/more-devalued-pound#ixzz4MCrbMErC

My facts are fine. We lost 0-3. Yes, I was. vitas...my sincere humble apologies ....I must have walked out in disgust in the 92nd minute in 2012 and missed their third stoppage time third goal. You have mind you gone up in my estimation with the true stats....unlike County Tyres who appears to have had a bad evening last night hearing the attendance was a massive 2,117 when he was outside the Mem gates trying to turn fans away.

It's a farce.Laughing stock. The people in authority who still insist this is a worthy 'competition' ought to consider their position.
