Excellent result - and by the sound of it a decent performance to. 3 points from 2 tough looking away games is a very good return really. I think we can begin breath a bit easier and think we've found our feet at this level now.

Quite incredible, a quarter of the season gone, we've played a lot of the teams towards the top of the division and we are 1 point outside of the play offs. If we could get ourselves sorted so that we get the first half of games right, we could be serious candidates for a top 6 finish. You could make a movie out of this, club in total free-fall and disarray, starts rebuild with cast offs and non-League players, gets turned around, back into FL with penalty shoot out win, promoted a year later with last kick of the season, new owner, new stadium coming, wish it was a book so I could skip to the last chapter

Great win ...need to fill THE MEM on Tuesday against Yeovil Town Impossible - most of it will be shut! Hopefully the rest will alsobe empty. Roll on the next proper game; league or genuine cup game.

That lot are more likely to burn down the entire library. But back in the real world. Brilliant, we never win there, couldn't be happier.

This division is crazy. Shot up the table the last few weeks and yet we're still only 4 points clear of the relegation zone.

Quote from a friend of mine at the game, 'Colkett has been incredible, best debut I've seen in 40 years'.
The lad had a fantastic second half. (he was one of our best players in the first half too) He's a quick thinking player with a great first touch. Miles ahead of this division imo. Cool finish for his goal.

Not bad! Is this a hugely naive thought? Is there a connection between the first halves being less successful, and the regular squad churn, with that game's set-up spending twenty minutes to familiarise itself with itself? Either way, it seems to work, and it's good to have options, so that's all good.

Great to hear, the strength and depth in those midfield positions is superb. The only way i think DC can keep them happy is to continue with the 3 man midfield, or today a four man midfield. On the subject of poor first half performances, it is standard for a DC team to be crap in the first half, i can't remember many games in the last 2 years where we have been the better side in the first half, the results and the success we have had proves it works, and the ability that DC has to change games with his substitutions is special.

I've yet to see what Charlie Colkett did to earn his booking. Apparently he was given the yellow card for ''excessive celebration,'' and if that is true then from what I have seen it was a harsh decision. All that I've seen him do is run to the crowd, which is quite commonplace nowadays I think. But then again perhaps I've missed something.

Its supposed to be a booking every time, I think. Some refs appear to use a bit of discretion.
Its the rule that is wrong, not the ref.

We should have had all of our players, all of our subs, the entire management team and about a dozen supporters booked when Browner scored against Daggers

Now it may well be true that I've led a sheltered life , but I really can't see the harm in a player celebrating with the supporters after he's just score a goal. From what I can see Charlie Colkett never entered the terracing or removed his shirt, so I do wonder what on earth he's done wrong. Not under the rules as they stand mind you, but common sense. Anything that brings the crowd into the game and involves them in a positive way, must be a good thing. I'll bet some of those younger supporters will remember that moment for quite some time to come. Excellent goal though I thought, he drilled it.

Either way, it seems to work, and it's good to have options, so that's all good. Depends what you mean by 'squad churn', if you mean the manager getting formation and tactics wrong in the first half, then, yes. But he seems to be able to work it out at half time. I just don't get why we seem to get the first half wrong so many times when he says that each game is a separate project, so presumably he prepares for each team individually. Maybe we need new scouts?
