Vale got some skilful players but not really threatened per RadBris
wrong 'uns winning 4-0 away, so not everything going our way

Ellis made a poor decision on a break just now, but has played well, scored, and now looks 'knackered' per RadBris
Sincs in the book - 5th of the season for him :-(

Easter was superb, ran the show.
Vale got what they deserved, cheating, time wasting, pretending to be injured, and yet another weak ref not only let them get away with it but also added on all the time they wasted at the end of the game.

It makes a change to see Jermaine Easter score the penalty, instead of earning it with his skilful play.

caller to RadBris saying he was surprised at the step up in quality between L2 and L1. From what I've seen, tend to agree with him

Easter was superb today, Ellis worked hard (as did the whole team) and was particularly good at the end defensively and holding the ball up at their end.
Good win today and we are gettting to grips with the step up
Clarke Out, Colkett must start etc etc

Just saw the goals on Sky. Thought their goal was fortunate in the manner it got to the striker. Good cross from Browner and header from Ellis. Fine penalty from Easter. Keeper went the right way but hard and low into the corner. Keeper no chance.

though that Vale gave us a lesson in ball retention in the first half, but never really threatened...then out of the blue they scored!! , seemed to change their plan after that and Rovers got more play and a deserved equaliser, but thought that Easter should have scored after 50 odd seconds but for snatching at his shot, his passing at times was somewhat "different"!! , Again DC does the HT tinkering and the game became more one sided and looked as though there would be only one winner, good shout at the ballboy from Browner for a fast release of the ball for a quick throw led to Ellis being brought down for the pen, good game all round i thought with a good standard of play , at the mo we look a decent set up and seem to have the ability to cope with most things coming at us,DC top marks again

Wonder where we place in the table for number of penalties awarded? We seem to have been awarded a few of them this season.

I'm writing a stiff letter of complaint to Rupert Murdoch for the sound effects dubbed on at the end of that clip.

Yes, but i'd rather win 9-8 than draw 0-0! It always baffles me when people talk about the positive of getting a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw. A 5-5 draw is better both for entertainment and in terms of the league table. Good point but i can see why about clean sheets. Its about creating good habits. We need to be to close a game out and not have that fear of always conceding just because that's what we do.

Good win today and we are gettting to grips with the step up Clarke Out, Colkett must start etc etc Now that Sinclair is banned, maybe it is time for Colkett to start against Sheffield United? Easter did fantastically well yesterday and deserved his man of the match. I didn't see any weaknesses apart from the mix up for Vale's goal, but it's traditional to 1 down anyway.
