well again it shows that Sterling is not up for International football and the same for Walcott ...Rooney?.....other than that ...no difference in the set up, but a win is a win

Didn't think it possible, but we've found an even worse manager who has managed to get broadly the same group of players to perform in an even more disjointed and clueless way. Wroy probably had a little grin watching that omni-shambles.
Why is Kane anywhere near an England team? Utter dross. And to make things worse, Vardy forced to sit and watch the bloke embarrass himself.
We'll get slaughtered by any half decent team.

Nice to see Wayne 'play where I want' Rooney taking the ball of our centre-half in our own half in the 90th minute to lay of a simple pass and be 40/50 yards away from where it matters and actually effecting anything
2 More years of that FFS

Hart had one thing to do, and as always, panicked and got it wrong. Rooney, back to his very worst. You can play Walcott either wide or as a No 9, what the heck was that all about, sticking him on the right edge of the area and pinging fast balls to his feet? Kane, off you go the L1 or the Championship. Seriously, Matty Taylor would have caused the defence more problems. On his way to Burton, Kane can share the taxi fare with Alli. Another wasted 2 years followed by tournament humiliation coming right up.

“Wayne played wherever he wanted to. I can’t stop Wayne playing there,” said Sam Allardyce on his captain’s position in midfield after the Slovakia match. Allardyce had said that Rooney would play as a No. 10. “This is the most decorated outfield player in England. He’s won everything at Man United, more or less, and at Champions League and domestic level. I think that he holds a lot more experience at international football than me as an international manager. Using his experience with a team, and playing as a team member, it’s not for me to say where he’s going to play.”

Really, that for me was oddest comment of the lot, I guess Sam was true to his word when in prematch interviews he was asked would Wayne play in midfield he replied with the very descriptive "No !".

Do you know how Allardyce's legal team are getting on with suing Panarama for directly accusing him of being involved in dodgey dealings with his Son, the football agent?

Did he ever actually sue them and has he started talking to the Beeb again?

As far as I know, there were a whole list of them who were named and shamed, they all shouted their innocence and threatened Panorama, then, silence. Our new England manager and his Son were amongst them.

This comment alone tells me that we don't have the right man for the job, even if it was a 5-0 win on Sunday.

Raised doubts about that whole improbable Bolton rise particularly in light of what's happened to them since. Gartside is one of those people who probably should have had the light shone at him more than it was, he was the main noise behind the 'Premiership 2' idea I seem to remember.

Looks like we weren't the only ones who hadn't forgotten his past. He appears to be as thick as two short planks though, there's a video doing the rounds today where he's saying to an undercover reporter that you can't take bungs and he's going to pretend that he hasn't heard the offer just made to him, he also calls the reporter an idiot, at the same time he thinks he's being oh so clever by suggesting ways to line his back pocket taking money from the exact same transaction but calling it something else. Moron.

You would think that how be bigged up how much he wanted it. Brits dont get a chance at the big jobs (which is bollox anyway) that he would have sterred clear of stuff like this. Thanks but no thanks, lots of football to watch
No quite happt to make some extra dosh in his spare time.
If he was to get another job, as a fan or potential employer you would wonder how committed he was now

If he was to get another job, as a fan or potential employer you would wonder how committed he was now The stakes to stay in the top flight are so high now that he'll be sat in Moyes' chair before the clocks change. Or, Cardiff lost again tonight, Trollope will be given the push any day now, they fancy themselves as a top flight club, they won't care about his past, if they think he'll get them into the PL they'll employ him.
