Welbeck to Arsenal finalised for c.£16m.
I think that's good business all round to be honest. Decent player and a good price for both sides.

Man United Falcao deal, the details: Man United only entered the race at 6am. They'll pay £12m now, but a permanent deal would raise outlay to £57m next season. Monaco are paying £150k of his £350k wage currently. City/Madrid were front runners last night, but Man United offered more as a total deal (£57m total), although not more in wages than City and Madrid. United will only pay the full £350k per week next season, so it's 12 million now as a 'loan' fee, then £45 million next season to make it permanent

Big mistake United letting Danny leave, that could come back to bite them in the a ss.
United as a football club now that they have a foreign manager are unrecognizable to Sir Alex`s Manchester United.

United are no different to all the clubs you love to slag off They have had 4 managers in the space of a year and are signing mercenaries like the ones you constantly bang on about!

Chelsea and Man City didn`t have a pot to p iss in before they were bankrolled by a sugar daddy.
United have always used their own self generated funds to buy players and pay wages.

Not entiirely true. The club still carries huge debt, so any fees paid increase that debt. OK, the debt is reducing, but isn't paid off yet. Is that better, worse or the same as Citeh and Chelski, I guess that depends on how you want to view it? As for Welbeck, Arsenal will have transfered their own money, cleared funds from one of their accounts, but he has his work cut out to win over Arsenal fans. I'll literally wet myself laughing when he dives and wins a penalty (with a bit of luck getting a defender sent off in the process) against Utd. But I'll tell you what, if you have just brought in Di Maria and Falcao you don't really need Diving Danny. Utd now have precisely 0 Manchester born players in their first team squad. So much for home grown and non-mercenary

Agreed, 10 goals per season isn't what they need, but now that Utd have made it clear that player development isn't part of their strategy, N7 may be a better place for someone like Danny to try to improve. If Wenger can keep him on his feet and improve the technical side of his game then who knows, when he's the finished item Utd will probably buy him back.

Radamel Falcao has been my favorite striker for a while now, so it'll interesting to see how he gets on at Man Utd. I reckon he'll do well.

I think Welbeck to Arsenal will turn out to be the deal of the season.

Well Arsenal have been after a goalscorer for ages................. Shame they still don't have one! You could well be right, DW has scored 37 goals in 178 club games and 8 goals in 26 England games..who knows it could all change at Arsenal.
