I ran that cassette album into the ground. Def in my top 10. Love the tourist. Underrated track.

The Clash......London Calling Blondie........Parallel Lines The Jam........The Gift Big Country....The Crossing Dire Straits...Brothers In Arms Oasis......What's the story Morning Glory Can't argue with any of those, top, top albums, i have them all. Sad news of the founding member of the Clash Keith Levene who has passed away aged just 65. Worked with one legend in Joe Strummer, then another legend in John Lydon. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-63611757

Great thread, just seen it!!! FWIW, and showing my age.... Let it be - The Beatles Bridge over Troubled Water - S and G Goodbye Yellowbrick Road - Elton John Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars - David Bowie / Hunky Dory - David Bowie. Can never decide which is the best. The Essential Bob Dylan - Bob Dylan Tapestry - Carol King
Music hit a high in the mid to early 70s, been downhill ever since, save for a brief high in the 80s with The Jam, who might have got in the top six!! Tin hat on. 😀

Are we allowed to include "greatest hits" albums in our choices?

Are we allowed to include "greatest hits" albums in our choices? A permanent ban could well follow.

I'll bite. Lady Gaga and Adele I could just about suffer. The others are aural dog s**t. IMHO. Particularly Westlife. Imagine being a really s**t tribute act to a really s**t act.
