I am more than concerned having watched last night, thought I would have a couple of beers and sleep on it. Yep it's only a friendly and all that, but there's losing and there's losing. Granted injuries have made our defence so so poor, but we lost it in all areas. Looks like DC is favouring Puddy - he played the whole game, but with little command. Our strikers did little, except Bodin, thankfully Taylor missed the punch he threw. Still Sabadell were very welcoming and socially it was a great night apart from their ruddy drum, bah humbug. . Can you elaborate on the punch comment ? Got me puzzled to be honest thanks Matty was getting proper wound up by one of their centre backs halfway through the second half and fair dos he was getting held back, but at one stage, some may say he was trying to get free, but a clenched fist did go towards the defender. The ref started very fussy, but towards the end he was letting too many things go. |

Will have a look at it again against Cheltenham. DC has not been able to put out his strongest side so far during preseason; that said,we all know BRFC need plus 3 or 4 players. A good hard pre season. DC will know his best 11, and will look to bring them up to peak around March next year. Too much panic over a couple of meaningless games that we would all swap for a point on opening day!

Exactly, my main worry is that it's already late to bring in any new player and I am just feeling a little uneasy about the stadium too. I have a worry that we are maybe going to have to get used to this hashtag #EvolitionNotRevolution. The one post that had me feeling a bit better was with the comparison with Burton. I would just have hoped that we took full advantage of this last season of not having the full weight of FFP. |
