they looked pretty keen and well drilled, Rovers defence looked rather half hearted , as for the
'dipper"over mildenhall re a previous post, the guy looked as though he miss hit a cross and got lucky with it,

Friendly so not interested in the score line particularly, more which individual's played well, and assume a good run out fitness wise.

I thought Swansea were a very good side although at times we made it look easy for them and we looked slow compared to the speed of their play.

We are a L2 team about to step into L1 and playing a strong, established, premier league unit.
5-1 in a pre-season against a side like that isn't anything to worry about. The quality of Swansea will have exposed some holes in the roof, as it were, that need to be sorted come scunny.
We lost 5-1 to baggies in the FA Cup quarter final not too long ago, felt very similar to that game. Simply a few steps above us all over the pitch.

I guess when a makeshift Rovers XI gets put up against a near full strength Premiership side - you kind of know where it's going. Hopefully no psychological damage inflicted. Only going by the high(low)lights - that could have been a double digit defeat. Fair play to Swansea for bringing that sort of quality to the Mem in a pre-season.
