Had first pasty at the Mem in about 10 years. I thought they used to be good or is it an age/memory issue. There again recently been in Cornwall so perhaps I raised the bar.

They sold out of every hot meat products by just after half time. The sausage rolls were gone before then. We certainly didn't plan for that lol. I'm happy to say that we sold all of our hot food

Was it a Cornish Pasty or a Meat and Vegetable Pastry? Apparently not allowed to call them Cornish Pasty unless from Cornwall, according to the woman in Greggs.

Interesting line-up (and formation?) for Rovers.
Mildenhall; Leadbitter, Kilgour, McChrystal, Brown; Bodin, O. Clarke, Gosling, Sinclair, Moore; Taylor.
No news about the Madrileños yet.

There is some. They have a much under strength team with a good few on extended breaks which I guess was from euros

"An American consortium has completed the purchase of a controlling stake in Premier League club Swansea City. Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan, experienced in running US sports teams, lead a consortium which has bought a controlling stake of 68% in the Swans. The new owners, who received Premier League ratification on 1 July, finalised the deal in Swansea following a meeting with chairman Huw Jenkins. Swansea Supporters Trust retain a 21% shareholding in the club". Link to article about takeover of Swansea by Jason Levien (managing owner at Major League Soccer franchise DC United) and Steve Kaplan (Executive chairman of basketball franchise Memphis Grizzlies). Americans buy Swansea

I thought perhaps Swansea might have put out a weakened side against Manchester City, as they were already long safe from any threat of relegation but had only pride to play for. So I compared with the Swans line-up that beat Arsenal 2-1 at the Emirates in early March. Amazingly, there are only four changes from that team facing Rovers today! Nordfeldt for Fabianski, in goal. Fernandez for Ashley Williams. Britton for Ki Sung Yeung. Dyer for Gomis.
