Has our glorious Premier division, with all it's ego, phoney love of clubs from players and crass greed played a part in the Brazilian downfall?
I know it's only one game for Brazil and they were missing their best defender and forward player but it was a hell of a spanking the Germans dished out. Brazil looked worse than England!
The Premier has been busy buggering Englands international team for years now, producing over-payed spoilt brats, who lack the personality to be anything other than support acts to our visiting foreign stars (and plenty of them are actually very ordinary!).We even see this boring narcissism at Rovers too, eg Ellis Harrison,Ollie Norburn to name two.I resent paying good money to witness it!
I think some Brazilian players share UK players priority list and that has 'money' above 'football'.
Once this happens it tends to make great players good and ordinary players poor.
The greed of the Premier is a blatant threat to the lower divisions in England.
How many Brazilians fans who sobbed genuine or crocodile tears last night actually attend matches at their local club? Have fans been priced out of football in Brazil as in England too?
Brazil has lost the financial battle to England and Europe for decades now.
I'm sure the Premier has played a major part in Englands poor international teams, but now I suspect they have also not done Brazil any favours.
Edit.I see from the BBC news that Brazilian legend Jairzinho (of 1970 glory) agrees with me.

I had the feeling that the egotisical Brazilians thought they only had to turn up to win, I hate the way they foul players when they have been beaten for pace or skill and when the dive so dramatically for no reason, dont get me wrong I know all this applies to many other teams both internationally and domestic and i think it ruins the game.
The Germans didnt just beat the home nation, they tore them apart piece by piece and it was a joy to watch.
As for the England performance, well they dissapointed a whole country and should bow their heads in shame. We should appoint Jurgen Klinsman as England Manager, the perfomance he got out of the USA team was amazing, when you think they didnt have the best of players.

I suggested Klinsman as England manager years ago and of course was told that's a stupid idea (hallo zfc ).Think we got Maclaren that time, upon my life! shame We do need a coach who can get it across to the squad it's a team game and when you get the ball you pass it,you don't fanny about posing, you pass it and move. If you don't do this then you won't be selected. The dumb ego of our lot needs to be coached out of their game! It's embarrassing just how lacking in sense, imagination, charisma and personality our players are! I still say the Premier (and other big Euro leagues) have done Brazilian football no favours at all. Greed for this €£$ is spoiling the game more and more and it is beginning to show more and more.

There are only 13 Brazilian footballers in the EPL, out of those 13, only 5 were picked, I can't see how you can blame it for their failure!
Courtinho - Should of played, has been great for Liverpool recently Guly do Prado - Southampton Fábio da Silva – Cardiff (relegated) *Fernandinho - Man City Heurelho Gomes – Spurs Lucas Leiva – Liverpool *Oscar – Chelsea *Paulinho – Spurs Lucas Piazón – Chelsea Rafael da Silva – Man Utd - Probably should of played over Maicon, who is dreadful! *Ramires – Chelsea Sandro – Spurs *Willian - Chelsea
What you can blame on their failure, is their lack of quality players, zero flair and skill, no fluidity, and playing players like Alves, Maicon, Luiz and Fred!

I think those in England or other big European leagues are maybe too busy counting their wages to keep football at the top of their priorities. I would also say that 5 playing in England selected is a large number. Half the out field positions.

You could also look at it that the EPL is the most competitive in the world, and the talent we do have here (yes no English) is very high, so would want to ply their trade here as it's of a high standard!
The EPL next season is going to be highly competitive down to about 6th or 7th, that's if the rumours of certain players are to be believed!
It appears Real Madrid are having a clear out, and Barca, so I'm not sure if that's to do with FFP going forward or not, but rumours of Di Maria going to Man Utd for nearly £50m and Khadiera to Arsenal, RM have also got rid of Morata.
