One of the dressing room characters, binds them together even when his opportunities to impress on the pitch are limited.

Younger than Ollie Clarke which, a lot of people over look. A good young prospect who I hope continues to grow into the game.

They're flocking in. Or should that be gaggling?

Potential to improve hugely - I like Gozzy! Glad to have him on board!

Still think his best position is in a midfield 3 or behind the striker(s).

I suspect a squad player at best but hope he does become more consistent.

This was often said about Wayne Brown, and like Brown, Gosling doesn't seem to ever get played there.

Because its a nonsense position at the level we play at.

Because its a nonsense position at the level we play at. I agree not really a position required in the 3rd/4th division. Seems to suit Gos best though. When we have played 3 at the back he seems like a good attacking option in a midfield 3 if you have Manse and Lines in there

Good to have him. As an impact sub he does well and he is a great squad player. I suspect, as with Ellis, he went on loan elsewhere last season and then realised how fortunate he was to be at Bristol Rovers. Came back and had an impact. He played a big part in LBs goal against D/R.... totally justifying DCs decision to give him a contract. Hope he continues to develop. UTG!

I like the idea of Gosling playing on the right and cutting inside to his left, he's not exactly a hellish winger but he has vision and technique and can work with Leadbitter's pace. Hopefully he can improve with us.

Squad player, but saying he deserves a new contract based on one straightforward pass which (indirectly) led to an important goal is laughable. He has taken a ride on the crest of 2 promotions, pretty sure he is only here by default. If he is played he will have to start looking for the ball instead of making sure he is too closely marked to receive it.

Excellent news. Jake controls the ball quickly and can see a pass. He has an eye for goal too. Maybe could do more when the opposition have the ball. He'll handle the third tier no problem if he puts his mind to it imo.
A player who could fit in nicely in a ball playing team.

Yes, I was certainly laughing after the D/R match when he helped create the goal! UTG!
