The Independent is reporting that Barry Hearn has resigned from the board of directors of Leyton Orient, along with his son Eddie, Steve Dawson and David Dodd, while Matthew Porter has stepped down as chief executive but will remain with the club. Apparently the new owner is an Italian, Francesco Becchetti.
Full and final clear-out then, promising a new direction under a new owner. It's just a shame that yet another club has passed from British ownership to foreign ownership.
