Excuse my ignorance but what League are they in now ? Lets hope they get back in the Football League and I hope their supporters stick with them in large numbers but really great news.

Won something called the Midland League against clubs like Brocton(Stafford) who don't even attract 50 spectators. Not sure where they go to now,but a long way from regaining FL status sadly.Locally,Stafford Rangers have won their league.(Evostick or something). They attract very good crowds.Would like a pre season friendly against Hereford.5000 gate would be likely at Edgar street. They are also at Wembley-FA Trophy or Vase? soon.

Thanks SG, reminds me very much of Newport County going out of business 27/28 years ago and having to reform and play in the lower ranks of the English pyramid with the FA of Wales trying their hardest to get them to join the Welsh Premier League. When they made it clear they weren't interested the FA of Wales refused them permission to play their home games in Newport for a number of years.

F.A Vase final in May for them.they won at Coventry Sphinx last night but like us at Woking, the home ground struggled to cope.Waiting to hear which league the F.A will stipulate for them now.

Off to the Vase Final, should be fun. Hereford into the Southern League South & West next season would be my guess, they should steamroller that in theory. The Southern Premier would be a good test though, some big clubs in there (Redditch, Weymouth, Dorchester, Leamington, Merthyr and f**king Chesham).

Good to see the 'new' Darlington climbing back up through the leagues also.

Are they back playing at Feetham's these days ? No, moving back to Darlington to play at the rugby club next year. Feetham's is no more.

I know several seasons back some of the locals were hoping they could go back there. Who owns the large stadium that George built them, I can't even remember what is was called ? If I remember rightly one of the stands was named after some local Catholic priest and was the longest named stand in the country, it was bizarre to say the least ! Although what's more bizarre is I can remember the name of their old stadium, presumably now long demolished but not the name of their 'new' one. I know I could google it......

They've been playing at Bishop Aukland I think. Blyth Spartans must be well sick. They led the league all season before getting overtaken in the last few games by Darlo on an amazing unbeaten run and then get knocked out of the playoff 3-4 by Workington who lost the final to Salford. Pity Accrington aren't in the same sort of form :-)

pictures show that Hereford have been allocated one of the "corner" sections of the ground the majority of their fans there,, although the days ticket covers both games it seems daft that this amount of followers were not allocated the section behind one of the goals, Grimsby and Halifax play at 4:00 and "town" are taking around 13,000 again not sure about Halifax contingent
