0-2 half time, not a lot between the teams but the Vegetables look a bit sharper.
David Pipe is playing, but I don't recognise any others.

I might tune in for the second half I trust #superfan Chewy will be getting loads of encouraging chants going and chasing after every stray ball that goes out of play so the lads have the optimum amount of time to get back in the game.

Overall a fair result, it was a little bit men against boys at times. Kieffer Whatshisname is a good player at this level (GFA senior cup level, I mean) and was probably a challenge too far for Kilgour and especially Comfrey at this stage of their careers.
We showed some good stuff going forward, Blake Davis looks a good player and Broom and Greenslade both impressed. Mansell looked undercooked, I think he's a few weeks off fitness (but you never know, he might have just played badly) and Gosling took a long time to show the extra class he's got but ended the game strongly.
Fallon looked very, very rusty. Its a shame he hasn't had a chance to get some games while he's here but its going to be some miracle if he's going to make a real contribution in a Rovers shirt.

Young Ollie took his goal well. Thank you to everybody that has made this available and what a great idea.

Agree on Fallon and Gosling, but I thought Mansell bossed the first-half (even though we only scored AFTER he'd gone off at half time!). Looked a stonewall penalty to Rovers, but ref gave nothing and FGR immediately broke and scored. Had we overcommitted? >>>> I've just reviewed the section around the half hour mark. 1. Blake Davis turned the last defender brilliantly to take a flick on from Rory Fallon. Davis moved forward and shot from outside the area. The FGR defender tried to block and went to ground. The ball rebounded from the keeper and Davis was EITHER tripped and held by the FGR defender OR simply got tangled up as he attempted to jump over the defender to get the rebound! 2. Rovers gained possession from the FGR clearance that followed the non-award of the penalty. But a Rovers midfielder lost possession and the ball pinged forward to the FGR forward who out-muscled the young Rovers defender to go on and shoot past Puddy. I regret to say that it looks as though the midfielder who lost possession was the otherwise excellent Mansell !!!

The live stream was another good initiative allowed by the new regime. Fans are being listened to and their ideas are being given a try. Worked pretty well I thought. Onwards and upwards. UTG

Interesting to see cameras from dribuild stand view of things. Made a change.. In my opinion it's the best view in the ground. If I were a manager then I would certainly habe a camera up there and habe access to the view. You can see the shape of the team so much better and also you can more readily see who is struggling. Each time I habe watched from there, I have really enjoyed the perspective. Hoping to get an ST there for the season after next. I think I've got one more season left as ambulant disabled. Hell, I best not even think of 2 seasons ahead. I don't want to jinx myself by taking that for granted.
