I was wondering whether or not we'll have to endure the unedifying spectacle of cheap ticket offers for Yeovil Town and Cheltenham Town fans (not to mention you know who) to support their little non-league neighbour Bristol Rovers on the special 'non-league day'? The shame of it all is already bad enough with that extra helping of indignity! It falls on the 9th September game v Wrexham. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-League_Day

Just asking for trouble if you ask me. Somehow I think the police might have a say in the matter. Or at least the police should have a say in the matter.

Blimey. They didn't really think that one through, did they.

Blimey. They didn't really think that one through, did they. No but should be fun if traditionally as we're told fans change ends at half time in the Conference at some grounds, do you think we'll be encouraging that tradition

Wait a minute? People are slagging off Non-League Day now? A brilliant idea that last year saw average attendances up across non-league by about 80% but you're right we're Bristol Rovers so every little thing about non-league is the worst.

I just that people cannot believe that it has come to this. And encouraging Yeovil, Cheltenham and City fans to attend to see non-league Bristol Rovers probably ain't a brilliant idea.

Yeah, it's pretty obvious that was the point being made. But if we can't slag something off, then at least we can slag someone off for slagging something off they weren't actually slagging off. Or if we can't do that, we can at least try slagging someone off for slagging someone off for slagging something off no one was slagging off.

City,Cheltenham and Yeovil aren't in the Prem/championship. Thanks Mate. I didn't read the link in the OP. I presumed it was for all football league clubs too. Still have the s**theads got any internationals now? If so they may have their game postponed. But as we've got an international now too I suppose there's always a chance we could get our game called off.

At least I'll be able to ask a City supporting mate to get me a cheap ticket!

Non league day would be a good date to focus any protest around. Perhaps fans could wear old retro rovers tops and scarves, get a massive crowd down there and make a massive day of it. Go for a massive long chant of "we want our Rovers back" or the like. Make it a festival atmosphere.
