Was chairman Higgs correct when he said at the EGM the BoD were "guilty of giving some managers too much support" (is that even possible?), or as i believe, not enough support - i.e. lack of scouting infrastructure etc?

Higgs clearly doesn't have a clue how to manage a manger, in general as well as just in football. God only knows what he was like to work for at Cowlins, but it's no suprise that Cowlins was gobbled up by a bigger player and that there was no place for Higgs in that Company.

Think he meant by giving out 3 year contracts on high wages as that's what the managers said they needed to bring players in. A lot of our budget was on players who didn't play much. Agreed they don't support them good enough with scouting etc, what we know anyway. Was surprised that Will Packwood said how well we scouted visiting teams and that they were told all about the team they would be facing. So we must have some form of scouting. Youth set seems to be producing players now. Think the managers were backed a lot more than other managers in league 2, yet they still failed.
