This is deemed the moaners forum .... Ridiculous.... It's was the home of people that wanted the changes we are now seeing ,agenda for change , gas trust, black and gold & the Indy supporters club may ultimately have failed but behind every group/campaign was a common theme .... A need for a professionally well run football club .... At last we appear to be getting one .... So rather than people dig at the moaners as they are perceived lets think about what we are now witnessing .... Isn't it better than how the club was before? No the campaigns didn't work and fell by the way side, the moaning didn't bring the change.... But it's heart was well placed and this is proven by what we are seeing now ... A Professionally ran football club being open about what's going on ... It's brilliant .... We are all the same for now blue tinters? Moaners .... No ...WE ARE ONE at last ... UTG

UTG I wouldn't let it bother you. People feeling the need to label others as moaners says more about them than it does the ones being labelled. There are always knobheads that want to drive a wedge where none exists - ignore them is the best advice I find.

Well said. It is hard to be skeptical of any of this. It has to be true just looking at the names and history of the people that are coming in. These people are not fools and are in it for the long haul. Still wondering how our wonderful president has got all these people on board and why he picked ragbag Rovers. I think as a club we have won the largest lottery in the world, the fact that he loves the history is even better.

You don't know moaning until you've stood directly behind the home dugout at the back of the East Terrace.
My goddddd.

If you're a gashead and haven't had anything to moan about in the last ten years you have either been on drugs or you're Rip Van Bloody Winkle!!!

UTG It was only described as the moaners forum because there were those who wanted to discredit quite a number of us who had ideas that appeared contrary to the direction the Board of Directors were heading in. I argued constantly that all we wanted was for our views to be respected and not ridiculed, our support of the club was unquestionable, we wanted it to be successful, we wanted the commercial operation of the club to be improved, we wanted the club to be better financially managed, we wanted fans to be treated fairly, we wanted a better manager, we just wanted better than what we were being offered. I ask your forgiveness for wanting the club to be run properly. Ps.....now with the arrival of these new owners, the recent annoucements and appointments being made to the Board of Directors what the f*** am I going to moan about now

Whilst I understand the need to put much behind us, I will not forget what was done and I've learned, the hard way, that forgetting just allows for the very same to happen again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. As the who song goes, I won't get fooled again and that is not just with the board but with putting out information that I haven't checked and re checked. I was a bloody mug but hopefully not again. I am looking forward with hope but, being a Robers supporter, I also look forward with reality.

For the sake of future generations of Gasheads, someone has to keep an eye on the current custodians, whoever they are. Even if it is to tell them that we've checked, and you are doing a good job!

By weird coincidence on another thread "While some have claimed that Rovers is an old Norse word for pirate, the word comes from the old Dutch Roven (to rob)". Maybe that's where the "Robers supporters" comes from... Read more: gasheads.org/thread/4702/blackthorn-buccaneers#ixzz41pVGL2V2

My daughter is studying Medicine. I have told her this week about a legal drug called WAEL. Still in clinical test phase in League 2, but first results from trials are encouraging in that it has induced a permanent sense of euphoria amongst those suffering from a feeling of insecurity and anxiety over many years. The only reported side-effects to date have been some dizziness and a reduction in social media interaction from those participating in the trials.

Try away dugout were a happier bunch there, the young lady who shouts your sh1t at away players as they trudge off looking miserable is priceless, the banter is good and moaning is only every other five minutes.

You don't know moaning until you've stood directly behind the home dugout at the back of the East Terrace. My goddddd. 'My goddddd' exactly. I once gave up on football altogether for a few months because of the atmosphere there. My father and I once took in a festive family Boxing Day match there once expecting to enjoy ourselves. My expectations turned out to me somewhat unrealistic. Aghast. Desperate. Dark. I guess it's important to make space for an outlet.

Haven't stood there since the days of Holloway and wouldn't again - he used to get some awful stick. I remember one particular bald headed loud mouth who gave it out for 90 mins week in week out. Does he still go?

No, he got sacked after the disastrous signing of Mickey Evans to replace Cureton led to a shocking start to the 00/01 season.
