What a hugely significant appointment, this chapter properly knows his stuff finance director at the f.a and then chief executive of Wembley and over saw the rebuild. This is the clearest indication yet that these chaps mean business .... We are getting a new stadium ...
What a time to be a gashead

"Now I am looking forward to putting my experience [at Wembley] to help Rovers build a slightly smaller stadium"
only slightly smaller I was hoping for at least 80,000 capacity at a renegotiated UWE site

I am absolutely staggered we have appointed a guy of this calibre. "I was the FA....."!!! Jeez, I would love to be a fly on the wall at meeting between the UWE and this bloke. I am grinning like an idiot.

Haven't watched that interview yet, but I did just watch the Lee Atkins one. What a nice chap. He won me over instantly - and then he mentioned Peter Osgood, my first footballing hero. Job well and truly done

I'm really speechless about the calibre of people being engaged by the club to progress things.
It feels like we're all the victims of some elaborate hoax....

It is exciting times and as lots of others have said I can't quite believe it. It was interestering to hear Michael Cunnah say that the planning process is the most important phase of the whole scheme and that it needs time to get it right. I presumed from this that these people will strike a hard bargain to get all the financial plans, income streams and building plans into place and that they will make sure that BRFC get the right deal with whoever they are dealing with (UWE or anyone else). The fact that they are already talking with UWE is great but I suspect dealing with these people who are now BRFC and not the previous lot means the UWE will not get as easy a ride over the stadium as they might have got with NH and the other board. (Not that it would have happened necessarily under them). These people representing us could walk away from it if the conditions are not right. These are people who get things done which will be great for us, it just may take longer. UTG!

Still trying to get my brain around all of this. Everything sounds so professional, hearing words like merchandise, over streams of income etc. A very exciting time to be a gashead.

So, the plans and, by the sound of it, the commercial concept, need revisiting. Better to know now than later. I trust his judgement.

These new appointments all sound brilliant.
The only point that does concern me about Mr Cunnah's CV is the crap view from the lower tier at Wembley.
£45 for a third of the way side-on (a lot more if I remember in 2007) where you can't see the corner flag, so everyone is up and down out of their seats every 5 seconds - hope that Wembley was a lesson learned for the UWE :-)
