Typical. Working away this week so couldn't be there tonight. I suppose the good news is that I'm working away next week as well so that's another win on the cards.

Hartlepool were probably the worst team we have played at home.
We played well but whithin ourselves. Hard to judge to a degree but a.good and needed win
Well done Gas

So we need to catch up 12 points (I'm not messing around with GD) over 13 games. Difficult, but not impossible?

Hoping Keith is going to give us a few more gems about what is going on. Meeting UWE, also said he meet new members of staff today but did not catch who. Lee Atkins. Said his job is to oversee the building of the new stadium Two others as well. All three are directors. One (I think his surname was Cunny) had some involvement in the building of the new Wembley Stadium, and the other whose name escapes me (maybe Dubray?) who will be involved with the scouting system. KB will be publishing interviews with all three I think. (Names written as they sounded, I suspect they're spelt completely differently )

We stuffed them. Apart from the crap defending for their goal and a free kick that my friend insisted was going to hit the Tote clock, which hit the post...they were awful. Gaffney, Taylor, Lockyer, Lawrence and Lines were all superb. Their keeper got dogs abuse and probably wished he'd stayed at home. It was the Spencer factor ☺

Already are happening it seems. Fancy little old Bristol Rovers having an owner with a plan!

What an amazing game. Cracking atmosphere too :-)
Not sure if we were good or Hartlepool were really bad, but we were up for it from the start and only took our foot of the gas in the second half.
Back in the playoffs, so all good...
PS. Their poor goalkeeper took some stick tonight...

We were very good and yet another DC win under lights at home. Nice to see DC and the players put right what they did to us 2 years ago. Taylor is and has always been a superb player, if he does leave at the end of the season he deserves a really good move for what he has produced this season and last season. Our back 4 did okay, McChrystal looks a bit rusty, i would bring Parkes back on Saturday. Liam Lawrence deservedly got another chance to show he needs time to settle, was the best player on the pitch second half, i'm hoping he can now build on tonights performance. We've started this key month well, i'm hoping tonight will boost confidence for Saturday as we need to get back to winning away from home.

Lennie was far better than previous matches and lines played well. Very pleased for Rory and particularly Matty who both took their chances well. Let's be honest though; they were crap, we were not great, the 4-1 result should have been more like 6-3. Disappointingly I think we really looked poor in the last 20 mins and Ellis, who got a chance to impress looked right off the pace.

just got home, a relatively easy win over a poor team, didn't ned to overstretch themselves to get this win, Lines had a pretty good evening but his lack of wanting to "win the ball " cost the Hartlepool goal , Gaffers went off with a strain after a second attempt at goal following a shot the keeper had saved, so news on him should be noted for the coming games ====around a hundred from H and it will be a long long journey home,, seen 4 or 5 seemingly depart when the third went in,
