I wonder if the club will be getting new solicitors under our new ownership! In recent years, the solicitors that the club were using must have took a fair amount of £££ from us over the Wycombe situation and all the appeals regarding Trash and Sainsbury's over The Memorial Stadium.
I have been thinking about all the tiny things like this where you can tell it will run more smoothly and professional.

I'd like them to get new solicitors for very different reasons.

Also maybe a step too far but if/when we get a new stadium, our new stadium may be favoured over the other lot if Mr al-Qadi's good friend Prince Ali is elected FIFA President and England end up winning a World Cup bid!

I'd like them to get new solicitors for very different reasons. I agree, but I think we should be very careful about the law of libel.

Was'nt the original spec for UWE Stadium to include further increased capacity if needed to around 30,000? I may be wrong but I swear this is the case. In the back of my head I can hear Mr Higgs say as we hopefully rise up the leagues that we may find ourselves needing to increase the capacity so that option will be added to the porject. Again I could be wrong. However, I dont think we should increase the capacity just for the sake of hosting World Cup games though.

The minimum requirement is currently 40,000 for group, last 16 and 3rd place World Cup matches double that for other matches. Although whilst the European Championships do permit a couple of stadiums with 30k capacity, it's probably safe to say Bristol or South Glos won't be hosting international football, in the unlikely event England is ever awarded a tournament in my lifetime.

From what i remember the UWE design was expandable to 30,000+, we might as well go for that rather than low 20s. Go Big!
