In response to a criticism of a group of posters on here at last nights meeting I responded that a lot of so called "negative posters" on here are people who have had direct involvement with the club and have been massively let down and treated like crap. I also stated that many had been programme article writers, evening post article writers, directors and financial contributors through the share scheme. In my opinion the club has suffered a huge brain drain from some of the people it has let down.
My point of this response being, to bring about desired change we need you on board, we need your ideas, we need your passion and BRISA needs to reach out to you. Right now may be our moment, our only moment to do something positive that could actually make the board sit up and listen. I would urge anyone with an interest in the club to get behind BRISA as it will only become what we make it and even if it is likely to fail, at least we can all say we tried.
Lecture over, I hope this is taken with the good intention it is created with.

You said it m8 BRFC is and always should be a community club and the sooner these directors wake up and smell the coffee(or cider in our case) then the better for the club and community itself.Allright we have only ever reached the dizzy heights of the championship a couple of times but we should still be a league club we now (hopefully)with new UWE stand on threshold of regaining our league status and that means all yesALL pulling together to get that status back TO HIGGS DUNFORD BRADSHAW&CO liase with us and work together to put us back where we belong if you think that you are to above us or can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen and let some one else in who wants to achieve our desired aim.TOGETHER we can do it TOGETHER we can achieve.

Allright we have only ever reached the dizzy heights of the championship a couple of times but... Three times actually and if it weren't for a leg broken twice who knows where we'd be today?

I would love to do something if I could, but even by the general consnsus on this site my view of the BoD is so jaundiced as to make it very difficult to see what can realistically be done.
What do you think the main strategy of BRISA will be from what has come up at the meetings so far?

What do you think the main strategy of BRISA will be from what has come up at the meetings so far? First of all Jozer, to be ready for the Q & A on July 21st. So I would urge all those who have attended the two Wellie Meetings (and felt yes I like this) to register on July 7th. We, by consensus got together about 12 -15 questions last night which we feel are KEY for the board to give us clear and detailed answers to. If they do not or are unable to we will arrange a meeting to prepare for the protest idea agreed on July 10th (first Wellie meet) . Protests will be a reluctant step but otherwise WE will be going into next season pretty much carrying on as before. Which, on the results of the last four seasons mean only one thing ..... more poor results and an even more alienated fan base. I do not wish this at all .. I want to support my beloved Rovers as I have all my life !! We will issue information very soon with some recommendations to all those intending on going on July 21st. I really hope ALL 150 places will be taken.
