Personally quite pleased with my attendance away this season PNE, Burnley, Ipswich, Rotherham, Derby, Cardiff, Reading, Charlton, Birmingham. Not bad at all. Ps, just looking at your column. Those teams... You really do play in a s**t division don't you

I was at Derby. It was a Tuesday night on a freezing evening when every man and his dog would know a side with Tom Ince and Darren Bent up front - along with £7m worth of talent on the bench - would give us a hammering. Hardly comparable. I was at Alfreton on a freezing Tuesday night for a 0-0.

I seem to recall quite a few of the s*** teams in L2 giving out some resounding beatings to supposedly better sides this season.

When I explain Bristol Rovers to people who don't really understand why we are in L2 I make it very clear.. We are Bristol Rovers, rovers by name and nature. To football a bit like the Harlem Globe Trotters are to basketball. We Rove the divisions (and hardly ever have the same home Ground0 playing exhibition style football and adding some glamour to that league. Getting crowds back into the game. last season we spiced up the Conference (just look at the attendances and the Wembley final numbers, this year we are doing it in L2. I suspect we will do it in L1 next season, but we will make the last few weeks nail biting to keep the watching public interested. If Bristol City are in L1 next season, I suspect we will smash it and go straight for the title, just because we can.
That is what I believe, yes I do.

Sadly, I think we would struggle in league one and only because we don't have the budget to get the right players in. I was reading a post, by DC, on the OS & he said he is on a budget that is actually lower than our NL season. That really does show how fantastic a job he has & is doing. This summer, regardless of our league position, it's going to be havoc for DC in sorting contracts.
