What ever happened with us (fans) helping out with transfer fees, Seem to remember agogo signing a contract because of help from the fans money or am I way off the mark.?? Could we not raise some money to help out the gaffney transfer.??

To many people on here with parsimonious feelings, but Bamber would be a good shout for £1

Personally I think that's a great idea. Similar like what Grimsby did in the summer to raise their transfer funds for their 'operation promotion' shizzle. After all the only thing that's possibly holding Gaffney singing is a fee. I reckon £50-£100k would do it! Someone make a donation page and I would certainly put a few bob in!

I vaguely remember contributing to the Paul Randall fund. Howver it wasvjust some bloke walking roundvthe Tote asking for contributions, and I suspect my 50 pence probably ended up behind the bar at the Queens Head.

Wasn't a proportion of income from the Share Scheme supposed to be reserved for team building?* Am I imagining that? Was it a one-off? Has that intention been overlooked? Does anyone know what the Share Scheme currently raises? Are details of income and expenditure ever published? (That's one for Angas).
*Then again, I thought at the time that was smoke and mirrors: we pay the club x; the club spends 1/y of that on team building; the club reduces its expenditure on team building from other sources by x/y; Peter pays Paul; everyone's confused.

"The application of subscription income broadly covers these three areas 40% towards repayment of the Stadium Debt 40% towards operational costs and improvements to the Stadium 20% towards team/ the playing budget" Last time I looked the SC site was years behind with any detail of funds raised. I might look again later, but don't hold your breath for any info. Time was when figures were published every month. BSS doesn't seem to bother.

Maybe someone could suggest to BSS and/or KM that we'd like to spend it on Rory (whatever 20% of who knows is).

Looks like approx £3,000 per month still going in. bristolroverssc.co.uk/2015/11/12/brsc-agm-accounts/ - By my reckoning that's £600 per month towards the playing budget which I presume is already spoken for. I suppose they could always try a campaign to boost membership ...

Andy Rammell's wages were covered by the share scheme and he saved us from relegation with his goal at Oxford.

With the agogo transfer then the supporters club should have received a percentage of the profits on his transfer and performance. If a Rovers 2015 player tranfer budget bought, say some ginger striker from Cambridge, then on his £1m transfer to Huddersfield in 2018 we should be due 50% of the profits.

I thought he'd been spat out because, well, it suited. Well meaning, misguided, but deserved better.
