Rory came on as a substitute for Cambridge when we played at The Abbey Stadium recently and will be joining us, initially, until 2nd January.”
Does that mean as with Blisset going it's looking like a perm move in January?

We're being used to get him fully fit because he can't get the minutes he needs at Cambridge, I reckon. He's on his way back from a major injury.
I hope DC has a plan for January because this deal looks a bit desperate to me, although Gaffney comes recommended as a player with pace and goals, with the caveat he hasn't played more than 60 minutes in a game since he joined Cambridge.

Hope this lad can prove me wrong, but expect we'll be adding him to Wall, Goldberg, that Bell Baggie character, the Man City lad who lasted less time than I would in bed with Selena Gomez in terms of useless DC signings.
We've got a player who's alleged fee was up there with what we were spending in League One and he's shipped out so we can give minutes to a divisional rival's player?
Seriously beggars belief.

Lol.....in your dreams KG, in your dreams You don't appear to be keeping up with events off the pitch, the club are servicing the largest debt it has ever had, the manager has had his budget cut from last year, who on earth are you expecting him to sign. And alleging something means you don't know, try harder

Cambridge fans absolutely gutted with this. Became a cult figure there in no time.
potentially a fantastic signing. Quick, skilful and full of tricks.
probably put the mockers on him now but my cambridge supporting friends are most unhappy

Good luck to the bloke, can't get a min at Cambridge, fans love him and he has decided to come and get his career back on line, hungry to prove he is up to it, sorry if it offends but if he is half as good as some of the other gems DC has found, then I am happy.

DC signs a winger and a 6ft target man in one week, sounds good to me.

Do you think the likes of Accrington have the luxury of players with the league experience of Macca, Mansell and Mildenhall on the bench and an international, a player who money had been spent in and various promising youngsters (including one who's scored a good few goals in the league below) not even making the bench?
Look I like DC, after a terrible start he lead us to promotion with a likeable group of players. But it'll take a hell of a lot to forgive the part he played in putting us in the mess in the first place. I just see no strategy in a signing like this, he might get a few goals and gain us a few points but if he does he's back to Cambridge. We're looking like a solid mid-table outfit so surely this would be the perfect opportunity to be giving minutes to Harrison/Lucas/Blissett?

So glad you have read the loan contract that has been signed, guess there was no buy him in the January window then? As for being a solid mid table team rather that than being non league again.

I'd understand a player coming from a Championship/Premiership club ie. Dawson last season because even if they did exceptional for us, there's a decent chance we'd still have a sniff of signing him.
You bring up non-league, what manager took us there? I've said I congratulate him for what he achieved last season, but this signing makes no sense at all and is indicative of a lot of signings that DC has made.
