I think we're missing a trick here.
I would so love to hear Roni Size Brown Paper Bag on the players' run out.. I don't know how he (or any of you!) would feel about that?
Also, we have a wealth of musical talent here in Bristol, why not give a spot to local talent artist to play one signature tune, as long as it's contemporary, in pre match build up?
What a great thing to say, in future if we helped launch careers of the like of Ed Sheeran (as well as Michelle Thorne!) ?

Thing is, it wouldn't have to cost us...I'm sure local artists, especially student bands, would be happy for the publicity. It would add a feel of supporting the community a little and push a minuscule of connection towards the young.. On players run out, we could have the Rovers Rave in Blackthorn End! |

My son is teaching himself to play guitar at the moment, and he can play almost all of what he claims to be Wonderwall- although I don't recognise it as such- I will see if he's up for the gig.
