I watched Bath City v Chelmsford (2-0 to Bath with Kaid Mohammed scoring second) yesterday.
In goal was our own, Flapper.
I have fond memories of him. Glad to see he's still involved. Made two important stops first 20mins (one was 1on1) and a few blocks in second half.
A good steady performance.
Would anyone be thinking what I'm thinking? (probably not!)

I don't think his fitness would be up to the rigours of League football anymore, and he's old now.
He should never have left us when he did, though.

Yeah i was there, steves saved so many points this season already, and given the defence more confidence. A few moments from kaid but not the pace he did have first time at bath, took his goal well, but probably would have had a hat trick years ago against a fairly poor chelsmford team, on the day.

Totally agree, CEG! What a well taken goal from that number8? McCouty played well I thought. But on the downside, their number2 was given far too much space behind the defence as Bath left back kept getting drawn in centre. On a side note, I've never seen it before.....someone led down in Popular Side?! Chelmsford fan absolutely boll oxed all over the place! Hilarious! Anyway, Phillips....i only briefly thought.
