Hi all,
Barry's Retail Panel may have fallen by the wayside, so he is keen to get the voting under way early for next season's away kit. There is quite a bit of red in the options, which might upset some, and Barry has gone for numbers that match his own fashion sense. I quite like the one with the blue hoops on the arms. but it is probably too close to the home blue; perhaps Barry can order it in yellow & black.

That was not 'alright in the 80s', or any other decade come that that.

I have long experience of living and working in Germany, but that's one of the craziest things I've ever seen!
From a British perspective you'd have to think this was an April Fool's joke...if it was, Netzer's reaction - "basically, I think there should be more colour in the stadia, as a service to the spectators" - was delivered with dead-pan irony!
And good to see a young Angela Merkel allowed into the West especially for the occasion.

Well, you know, people tend to look to the Bundesliga and German football in general for innovation in the modern game with a vibrant league and an excellent fan culture but that video shows that they have actually become more conservative over the years. That wasn't a magazine show - that WAS a Bundesliga match from the mid-1980s. They were experimenting with a kind of avant-garde conceptual approach to the game. Essence of Football beat Vibrancy of the Sporting Experience by 3.52 to 0.83.

Mind you it's not a bad idea to vote now for next season's shirts, they may get delivered on time!

Having worked & lived in Germany for nearly 3 years, that made me really belly laugh. In my experience I found the Germans to have a great sense of humour and were very liberal in comparison to us. I think BB must have commissioned them to do this . I do like the hoops
