Anyone at home will do.
But if it has to be away, Millwall will be a lovely trip.

The friends I made, while working for Hunter plastics in Landaaaan, were fine with Rovers support but hate the teds with a venom. There is hate and then there is another level and they reserve some deep rooted anger for our South Bristol teds

Are they our mickey mouse cup jinx team? I think we've lost to everyone in it at some point over the years. I'm very much in the Mickey Mouse Cup camp, but just like a visit to Disneyland, winning it would be fun.

There appears to be a general consensus that BRFC supporters are well-regarded in the game, but our friends from south Bristol seem to be held in contempt by most other supporters in England and Wales. At the time of our relegation from the Football League there were so many supportive posts from other club's supporters, both on here and on their own forums. The ones that stood out for me were QPR, Swansea, Cardiff and Preston, but there were many more besides. I do wonder what on earth B*FC supporters have done, to get up the collective noses of so many others.

Not the best draw at first sight, but you don't progress far in any cup without meeting some kind of decent opponent. Southend are currently in 11th place in League 1, with 15 points from 11 games. At home, in the League, they've won two (Peterborough and S'thorpe) but lost three (Walsall, Swindon and Shrews). Their highest home crowd this season was the 6,149 in the first game in League 1 after promotion. They've done well away from home, winning at Millwall and Crewe, drawing at Fleetwood, Donny and Coventry, but losing at Burton In the JPT, they reached Round 3 (the Area Quarter Finals) by beating Crawley (away) by three goals without reply. And if you're weary of the UWE saga, Southend are girding their loins for their own quest for a new stadium. Link to Southend Stadium Consultation

I do wonder what on earth B*FC supporters have done, to get up the collective noses of so many others. Stopping family coaches and beating people up on them didn't go down well with the Millwall boys as did smashing up their team coach. This lot seem to want to literally kill the teds. I've heard many stories, over the years, of plans to get even but I believe the time will come when those two meet & it will make national news. Just think of the things they've done when playing us. Chasing and hitting our players, racially abusing Black players. Covering their own and our players in gob. They really are a bit special eh. What REALLY gets me is that they have gotten away with most of it. Their PR machine is light years ahead if us ( not hard I know) they said we broke upwards of 300 seats when I actually only saw the one being thrown back & forth. They, unlike us, will never admit to their fans doing wrong. I guess they act like an insurance company, in telling that lot never to admit to anything. The irony, for me, is calling us Horse punchers, they seem to forget they did that, at Cardiff when they manfully beat up a pub full of furniture. I am going to quit there as I could write an essay on this. Thing is, it will not stop. When we play them again, whenever that may be, we can all look forward to the same. I know we have our own loons but I would say the provocation comes from their side. The Mrs was very lucky not to get hit, on the head, with a glass bottle full of p155, at Trashton hate. Lovely people.

Another sincere and heartfelt post, Mr Kp.
All delivered in your brilliant, emotional way. I applaud you, sir!
Please keep in mind though this is a very small proportion that are activists. I'm not disrespecting or invalidating your post in any way, I was trying to make the point a minority..

Just a general thought whilst reading all this stuff about Teds - is it my imagination that since their demise to the bottom of their League they are few and far between on here lately? Used to get a bit of banter from a few of the more sensible ones but all seems quiet on that front.

No it's not your imagination (in fact far from it), because I've noticed exactly the same thing myself. Long may it continue I say.

I have said before, some of my closest mates are city fans, we wind each other up in a perpetual round of one upmanship and ridicule. In most clubs you get some twat supporters, we have some, they have more pro rats to larger support. For me the difference is that we hope to be a better side than we generally are. They expect to be better and believe that they really are a top club but it's been 40 years since they were and 33 years since they achieved their true position and standing.

It's Mickey Mouse again though this season, isn't it? As far as I was aware it only had a temporary respite from being Mickey Mouse for a year, but it's definitely Mickey Mouse again this season I think!

It was Mickey Mouse in 1990, it was Mickey Mouse in 2007, and it'll still be Mickey Mouse if we ever win the bloody thing.
