Featured tonight on Sub bench. Whatever happened to the statue fund: www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-23557030it appears the new stadium may never happen, but what about the money previously pledged? Surly an area could be designated for this in the short/medium term if the stadium move doesnt happen?

Surly an area could be designated for this in the short/medium term if the stadium move doesnt happen? That's a good point but I have no worries on that score as Steve Sutor is one of the good guys. I think he was pretty disappointed at the pledges made that never turned into money paid. I am amongst those who pledged but I wanted to know the stadium would happen before I handed over the cash. I fully intend to pay but the money is better in my bank than in any other, as it stands right now.

Hopefully should be releasing a design for the GoFundMe 7th of January 1956 banner. The club completely missed the 60th anniversary of Geoff's sole England cap.

A celebration of Bradford's England debut was organised for the Wycombe league game and an article prepared for the matchday programme. However as the match was postponed so was the exhibition in the Bristol Room, Club house at the Mem has been rearranged for Sat 24 Oct before the Newport County game 12 noon to 215pm.
Fans will be able to see Bradfords framed England shirt and cap, medals he won plus many photos of his wonderful career.
This was mentioned in the feature on the 60th anniversary on last nights sub bench tv programme.

Fans should be allowed to see the shirt every week, it shouldn't be locked up in a room for the select few.

Don't forget to come and see the Bradford Exhibition in the Bristol Room at the Mem before the Newport match. You can see lots of memorabilia and watch footage of Geoff in action.

When will the "Bradford Exhibition" be open on Saturday? I'm in posh seats (one of the box's) for the first time since my son was mascot 24th Jan 2004... so I'll be there early. That as opposed to being in the Wellie at 2:55pm and missing kick off - which is traditional.
One other thing. Surely the statue fund is something that all supporters would put their hands in their pocket for. How about a 20p suggested donation on the turnstiles Saturday (or any another fixture) - 5500 X 20p = £1100. Or a suggested donation of £1 for every picture taken by the shirt? Say 50 people X 100 = £500? Just thinking aloud... Do we have a PR department? If we do - where the f*ck is it?

DOH! Apologies. OK - 100 people X £2 each for the privilege of being allowed to be photographed next to the shirt = £200. I guess someone will be on hand to look after the exhibition and a bucket with suggested donation wouldn't do any harm... I'll pledge £4 for starters. C'mon - where are you... let's be 'aving you...
