Really good performance, but that keeper worries me to death. I keep hearing people talk about the importance of having a big keeper, I would much rather have someone who actually knows how to position himself and how to make the area his own. Ideally Puddy will be back soon. I haven't seen Mildenhall in a competitive game yet, but surely he would do a better job. We have had 3 wins against what seems to be 3 of the poorer sides, if we beat Orient I might break into a smile! At Luton Chapman had little to do defensively but tactically he played a good game, he distributed well out to the wing backs and kicked much more directly I thought. He's only been here a few weeks remember. Yes orient will be a greater test but they almost slipped up against Newport and shipped two goals in the process so perhaps we'll be a proper test for them. It was me that knocked the new keeper, Topper was just speculating on whether he offered anything different to Mildenhall.

I know MA has enjoyed far too much jellied eels, but I'm sure the technical area is still big enough to hold him?
Instead he chose to stand much of the match nearer DC as if to cop a listen at his tactics!
I thought technical areas had to be adhered to?

Utter tosh as you well know. you only come alive when we lose or even draw. Very tiresome. Where is the praise from you lot? Nothing to do with the true fan bollocks. Its to do with praise when due as well as knocking Rovers when they don't. Which you always do the latter not former. Any thoughts on the win then? I wouldn't waste the energy responing directly to a moron who is only out to critisise the team and manager, based purely on hindsight after a defeat, waste of space who belongs at trashton. Not good to get personal. Try to stick to the rule of attack the post and not the poster mucker. Please don't take this as a dig at you but we all have posters we don't see eye to eye to. I blocked two last month and my time here is much better because of it. Maybe that would work for you ?

Great result, great strike by Browner; I am pleased all the unnecessary bitching about Linsey appears to have stopped (at least for now), IMO thought Chris was tremendous yesterday, I cannot understand why a few idiots constantly slag off a fellow Bristolian who happens to be a top quality midfielder. I do wonder if the new keepers offers anything Mildenhall doesn't, not knocking the new keeper but can anybody see what he does better?Distribution wise it seems it's just the boot up field, although there does seem less hesitancy in the defence but then again we do now have 3 CB's, unless Mildy couldn't cope with the extra 1 in training! Personally I'd make Ollie Clarke MotM has his performance was miles better than we've from him at the Mem, Sinclair's was just a typical day at the office by his, high, standards. There were numerous times Chapman was required to come to the edge of his area, Mildenhall would have been firmly rooted to his line make no doubt about it.

I didn't think Chapman did a lot wrong yesterday, I've been more impressed with him so far than I expected to be with a rookie loanee.

And you not being a knob use the word knob. Excellent win again today. Sounding out those who only come alive when we lose is a pleasure of mine. Your first reaction after a good win is to come on the forum and "sound out" someone? You've commented on this thread 6 times. Once has the main point of the post been about the game and that wasn't until your fourth post. I'm a rose tinter and proud and I disagree with pretty much all of what Bamber says, but you'd be hard pressed to find "poison" in the post you original quoted. Anyway each to their own. I rely on this forum for updates about the match as I can't get the radio where I live and the BBC is often blocked. www.torproject.org/projects/torbrowser.html.en

On-line commentary via Radio Bristol's page won't work anyway even in the UK. You have to subscribe to Gas Player. Cup games are different I believe. You could get a mate in Bristol to Skype with the mic pointed at their radio.

You could get a mate in Bristol to Skype with the mic pointed at their radio. I've done that a couple of times but Skype is now a bit hit and miss. I'd subscribe to GasPlayer if I was confident enough it would stay available.

Rather than a trip on to the "dark side" of the net why not just use a VPN? I've tried a few where you do not have to pay a subscription fee and wasn't massively impressed, any service you can recommend?
