Not gonna dwell on it.
Great finish by him, and the delivery.
He is a disgrace with attitude to all the things that were wrong in the game with our relegation season, and became a catalyst to the scapegoat of players taking the p*ss out of our beloved club.
Quality was never a doubt.
With today, he took his goal very well, with precision and endeavour. He neither celebrated, nor non celebrated.
He hasn't had the last laugh, but fair play, anyone whom booed him had to admire his 15 goals for us, and a brilliant header against us.
Respect.
Closure.

Then again if he'd been "managed" correctly by JW things might have turned out differently when he was at Rovers.
Whilst it was a good finish where was our marking, it's not like we don't know what to expect from him!

I'd have him back tomorrow. Me too. Whatever his problems, he`s in a different class to the likes of Easter and Blissett

If only the other Northampton players were as good as him they'd have got promoted last season. He's bound to end up at Barca or Madrid

Would it be too cynical to think that sums the guy up? Talent? Definitely. As much as he thinks? Probably not. Does he always use it? No.
Today, a point ('look what you're missing') to prove to us. Plus, he was told over the summer by Northampton that they're the latest in a long line of clubs that, after an extended experience of him, concluded they'd rather he moved on, so a point to prove to them as well.

The player gave a very generous post-match interview in the Bristol Post . . .
Credit where credit is due.

Except in my case, unlike he reported, my dim view of him isn't based on having been devastated that that he tore himself away from us - by that stage it was a rare bit of good news that he was gone - it was his unfortunate attitude and patchy endeavour.

Of course he enjoyed his time here - it was probably the biggest wage he's ever earned!

Besides the lovely header, he did very little. But people will cream over the guy. The up & under tactics from both sides made the midfield completely non existent all day long.

Would make a huge difference to have him in the Rovers squad. Can't help thinking he wasn't managed well though.
