I have been asked by Kevin Nicholson to post this on here for a great local cause after Bristol Children's Hospital nursed his son back to health.
When I started this fund raising stuff I was thinking it would be a small thing that would be a couple of bits of mine and a little thank you to the Children's Ward in Torbay for looking after my boy Leo and my family during such a scary time for us all. As things have gone way bigger than I could have ever hoped I can now put this next Auction prize up and the money raised from this will go in a slightly different direction. When Leo had been safely put under and his breathing tubes were secure and doing the work for him we were moved to the Critical Illness ward at Bristol Hospital where I spent 2 nights alone in the hospital before my wife could join me. When she did we were put up in the Ronald McDonald house in Bristol which is a place that houses parents who are from out of town who's children are in the hospital. It cost is nothing as this is a charity and was incredibly reassuring as we were within a 5 minute walk from Leo's bedside. It seems only fitting that a Bristol Rovers shirt worn by Mr Lee Mansell should raise funds for a Bristol charity so please bid away on this beauty and spread the word to any rovers fans while you're at it. I'm hoping for big things after he shanked the winning penalty at Wembley so let's go!!
Please PM me your bids but as an opener the highest bid currently stands at £165.
