Mitchell Johnson is not out after an 18 ball marathon ! It's the longest any batsman has lasted (as I type!).
38-7 ! England batting before lunch?

Staggering. Odds are still in favour of us batting before lunch.

Aussies have to remain positive. They still have two reviews left.
50-9.

60 all out in 111 balls. Broad ended up with career best 8/15.
What a morning!

"18.3 overs is the quickest any team has ever been bowled out in the first innings of a Test match.
"Stuart Broad's 8-15 are the best figures in a Test match for England since Devon Malcolm's 9-57 against South Africa in 1994."

Didn't one of the Aussie papers leave Broads name off the scorecard after he didn't walk the other year?
wonder if they will do similar for this horror show

Amazing really - we seem poised to regain the Ashes but there are still massive question marks about our top 3. Oddly I think if we win this then they'll be more tempted to drop Lyth for the Oval. You could well ask who but at this stage it probably doesn't really matter much, I don't think Lyth's continual struggles are doing anyone any good. We have a very difficult looking winter coming up against Pakistan in the UAE and South Africa. Arguably both of these series are tougher than playing the Aussies at home so we should start thinking about who might be the best bet for those games and it doesn't really look like Lyth is the man.

Agree about Lyth. If we win. drop him (not sure for whom) and see if we can find a partner for Cook
