Currently 3-0 up. Bodin, 7, 16 Lucas, 33 (pen) Seems mean of Lucas not giving Bodin the chance to get his 3rd! I Know he got his 3rd in the end but usually when someone is on 2, if a penalty comes, they get the chance to get the 3rd. I noticed there is someone called Slocombe on the bench. Who is that? I thought Montano was suppose to be playing?

Slocombe is a trialist from Yate Town and Montana I believe has a slight injury.

Is it really as easy as the score suggests ? At what level of the pyramid are Cirencester ?

Is it really as easy as the score suggests ? At what level of the pyramid are Cirencester ? Southern Premier, one league below Conference North/South. A decent test, theoretically, at this stage of pre-season and our (half) team sound like they played well, which is encouraging.

Cirencester were quite physical and quite rubbish. We did well. Bodin was very good, Lucas did well too. Good run out for all the lads, but in terms of a test it probably wasn't all that valuable.

Jake Slocombe is an ex-Mangotsfield lad. Came up through the youth ranks playing in the Somerset Floodlit League and Cup double winning side. Spent a year in America playing football and also represented Rovers futsal side. Gas through and through and no matter what happens his Dad who was there last night would have been bloody proud.
