Ah yes seeing as you and I share the beautiful county of Oxfordshire I'll be happy to oblige. You'll have to speak up a bit though - you know there's an entire division between us.... Be nice to people on the way up. You may well find that if / when Lansdown finds himself rubbing shoulders with some seriously wealthy people in the football world that he loses the appetite to continue funding his little vanity project, then you will be right back to 1982. Oh, and your manager is a bit thick. My Daughter could buy her way out of L1 with the budget that Wurzel had, he's about to come up against some much more serious characters, will be amazed if he's still there after Christmas. Would you like to point your daughter towards Bramall Lane, Sheffield? I think there's some guys eager to hear how big budgets make it so easy to go up.

They were on their knees a short while ago playing youngsters. When did they get the big investor?

Im blowed if I know. I haven't read or heard of any big spending by them but I may have missed that. Unlike City who still payed players £15,000 a week in league one.

Sheffield United and big budgets? They were on their knees a short while ago playing youngsters. When did they get the big investor? Owned by Abdullah bin Musa'ed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud since Sept 2013. Yes, Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud bought 50% for £1. Last season they made a £3,100,000 trading profit on players and reduced the wage bill by over £4,000,000. For some reason the investment of Prince Abdullah bin Mosaad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ''falls outside of the latest accounts reporting period'' whilst the NcCabe family continue to put money in. All sounds very much like what happened at Notts County. And how much did your barely coherant Wurzel spend assembling a Championship squad to duff up L1 outfits?

Well let's see - we brought in out of contract players or free transfers aside from Kieran Agard who was rumoured to be 800k - £1m.
We sold Sam Baldock for a rough figure of £2m.
We ended up outlaying nothing to pull together a quality squad who played as a team and won the league.
So your point on Sheff Utd equally applies to us on capital outlay.

Anyway, back to the thread. I've only skimmed through it, but using the search tool TRASH gets 11 mentions in the judgement document.
