Right so sainsburys acted legally but certainly not morally. Why don't we do the same let's fill a sainsburys car park of choice full of gasheads before opening and then when they open all enter the store. Fill our trolleys full of goodies and make our way to the check outs let the cashier put all the good through the till and then drop the bombshell that it is far to expensive and walk out the shop. None of this is illegal and they couldn't do a thing about it.

I stopped going to Sainsbury's three years ago, I am NEVER going back in there again, that's my silent protest. There's no need to cause their local staff aggravation, it's not their fault and will only bring shame on us.

Should have blockaded the Emersons depot months ago, would have cost them. Unfortunately we don't live in France.

Time for fans and team to forget sainsburys, we cannot impact on any decision. The best support we can give now is to pack the Mem and make it impossible for someone not to want to invest. We are back in the league and whilst a new stadium and financial security would have been lovely, it isn't happening right now, so no different from the last 60 years!
10,000 to 12,000 gas at every home match would make a big difference though!

Why would a peaceful protest bring shame on us. Sainsburys staff will still be paid by them.

Why not protest against the people that led the club to failure and thought of the new stadium as a last resort to pay themselves back for lending the club money and wasting it?

According to the law they are in the right!
So all rather pointless.

It's just that I see it as an aggravated protest, that's all, it doesn't inconvenience Sainsbury's, just their local staff. I know we're all feeling angry and p*ssed off at the moment and 'want to do something' but unless we did this for a long period of time it is going to have very little impact and certainly isn't going to change the decision made by the Judge or persuade Sainsbury's to change their minds. Just my opinion though......

We lost. Time to move on. I have a feeling we have some investors in the pipeline.

The law is the law, the only reason I would enter sainsburys would be to check use by dates on their goods. Once bought a call to local trading standards would follow. Big fine and very simple process

Illegal no, but morally right? Remind you of something?

Among the disappointing but hardly surprising news that Higgs has failed the club yet again it is good to read that some people do have a sense of humour!

I've always opposed appeals and boycotts and nothing has changed. There is only one thing we, as fans can do that will impact the future of the club, and that's packing the Mem for our return to the FL and perhaps investing in a few more pieces of merchandise from the shop. Higgs has been explaining that remaining at the mem will be unprofitable, but I doubt that would be the case if we were selling the ground out every week.

UTG This. Anything else seems massively unfair on the lads who pulled on the quarters and were willing to take body blows on the pitch if it meant promotion, and had the attitude and gumption to get us there. It sometimes feels that whatever we do, 'business as usual' for us means that focus on survival comes first and the football is not just secondary, but almost an afterthought. Maybe if we all made 'football' the primary focus, 'survival' would need a bit less of our attention as a result.

We had our day in court, and whichever way you look at it the judgement sadly went against us. It's time to walk away now, with as much dignity as we can collectively muster.
I would hate to see us make ourselves look foolish in trying to pursue the matter further, in whatever manner may appeal.

If anything that Sainsbury's sell is better or cheaper then I'll do what's best for me and shop there.
