That was an excellent performance from Lee against a credible opponent going into the fight tonight, and as Bobby George would say 'the boy got beat up, plain and simple'.
A well deserved win for a decent guy and particularly pleased for Chris Sanigar with all the work he has put into Bristol boxing for decades and understandably he got rather emotional at the end, its been a long wait for Lee but he got his reward, fingers crossed for a pop at Jamie McDonnell now.

I was quite taken back by Chris Sanigars persona 0202b, he seems to have lost an edge he had years ago, not saying that as a negative, quite the opposite in fact, seems a lot more humble now, perhaps age has mellowed him, it must be a sweet feeling for him after the graft he has put in for so long. Interesting that Richie Woodhall was part of the C5 team, will never forget the night Glenn Catley was robbed of world title, Glenn new it, everyone watching knew it except the judges, the response from his opponent Woodhall was rightly one of disbelief and pointing towards GC saying it was his belt! I'm sure the memory is certainly not lost on that night for Chris Sanigar.

I'm glad everyone said and behaved their own way.
Bristol is better for this!

He's just a normal fella (unless you approach him first) and goes about his football watching in same usual humble way.. Anyways.. Good for Bristol. Well done, Lee

I've followed Haskins's career for a long time and been to all the academy fights and I have to say I'm always surprised he's had as much success as he has. His technique is very poor.

Why be such a dork. This is not about football nor the franchise. Lee Haskins is a top guy who puts in so much work. He said he supported both clubs, absolute oddball statement. He may be a top guy who has put in work but I'd like both boxers to win tonight. Why alienate half of Bristol ? A boxers time, if successful, is finite and one punch away from the end. Your andwer in who he follows is how many times has he been to our place ?

That will be very difficult as both Hall & McDonnell have avoided Lee for years. Both know he can make them look bad but, after an impressive finish, he will now scare them even more Lee was training with super middleweights and even cruisers. Had his nose broken and hit hard, in preparation for this. The Japanese had only lost once and to arguably the best bantam in the world. Shinsuke Yamanaka. It's Lees time in the sun now. Well deserved and his preparation was spot on. You have no idea of the nasty and undermining crap that he had to deal with. Many were saying he would not even fight. Great times ahead for local boxing. We have some superb prospects & it's a pleasure to work with & around them.

Why do you think everyone has avoided him eh ? Technique is superb. His KO % is not good but he can make good boxers look average. It's the ppv that has been problematical as people want to see KO yet Mayweather has dined out on that. How you come to your conclusion baffles me. Have you ever boxed ?
