Today our former landlords launch an appeal to raise £750k to buy the Club.
Ken Loach confident it will happen. Anyone going to Bath Guildhall tonight to see Ian Holloway at the event to find shareholders.
Just £250 will secure a share

Third thread about helping out other clubs recently. It's all very odd considering the potentially perilous position we're in.

Not saying it's as easy as that but it's a darn sight easier, for example, than a club who are taking on loans at exorbitant rates to fight a court case they may lose and where the alternatives are not so clear.

Get back baking and you are grounded all week. Your mother has been told so expect an early night and no watching tv for a week.

Lets say he hasn't, he pops his clogs, and then the family want all the money back. Just a thought, I hold no malice towards him.

The sad thing with this Bath thing is they're pricing out young supporters from being able to get involved. £250 is a lot, I certainly couldn't afford it.

Agree with chewbacca and vic that £250 is a lot. Shame they couldn't have had a cheaper share price for under 18s. I like the idea of what there doing though, following the likes of portsmouth and fc united, a community owned football club can only be a good thing. Bath's got a lot of people with a few quid who don't give a stuff about bath city. Maybe this might tempt more people to get involved. I read a lot from their promotional material last night and found a link to supporters direct who i'd never heard of - www.supporters-direct.org/homepage/aboutsupportersdirect. They help fans who are trying to get a stake or take over their club. I know we had Bryan Seymour Smith as a fans rep on the board but never really understood what influence he had. If we ever get in to serious trouble again and some dodgy crook looks to buy us I hope we can do something similar.

I notice they've signed Steve Phillips.
