Heard last night that Swindle are taking a whopping 18,000 followers to Wembley today.
Given that the league two final was played in front of almost 10,000 less fans than our day out this may mean we had the highest play off crowd outside of the championship.
It just goes to show what a following we have if the team are doing well.

League 2 P/O final last season had a crowd of 10,000 I think.

I know of many families, in Kingswood, that have not come back. We really do have great potential.

to be honest i hope they win, never really classed them as local so dont really care what they do, BUT if they win it will piss off the teds on top of southend winning so late, which can only be a good thing. All the hate will be spewing out on otib later tonight, the big question " who do you hate the most, the sags or swindle"

both clubs had sold around 21,000 up to weds, with swindon returning 9,000 to wembley so a good chance of the rovers/grimsby att being more than the league one a final att or pretty damn close...

listening to it all on Radio Wilts, and they are saying they had 29k-ish for their last 2 visits to wembley [2O1O & 2O12] so certainly something keeping them away.
prob same as us. mixture of tkt/day-out prices, economy, summer holidays coming,
And for them, they lost their last 2 times there!
TBF i think nearly all the clubs who've got to wembley would take more in better economic conditions / more sensible prices.
The worst is prob Wycombe! 35min direct train to wembley train station, or a zip down the M4O.

Thing is KP for every Rovers supporter I know there are roughly three times as many fans who for whatever reason rarely or never find their way to the Mem, guess it's the same for all clubs.

Then came the time when we visited them and a few of us had to usher a frail old lady from the stand who had collapsed through total fear while they were throwing seats at us. A horrible club and one that IMO deserves no success.

I remember our lot somehow managing to tear up concerte and slinging it at them, coppers too. It was a scene of havoc & utter destruction.

If you want to see what the bad old days were like, just have a look at this from the Swindon v Rovers game in 1983:

Starting like we did, concede in 2nd minute and still looking under the cosh. Important next 20 mins for them. Let's hope they mess up!

Pathetic following from them. Bottom tier only by the looks of it You could forgive PNE fans for not turning up in huge numbers, their play-off record to date, made play-offs 9 times, promotions via play-offs 0. Edit. Looks like it's going to be 9-1, now winning 3-0, and you have to say, having finished 10 points clear and with a goal difference 20 better than Swindon, they deserve it.
