Why in blazes would Lambert go to them when half the Prem and most of the Championship would be interested?
Half the appeal of Liverpool was to be closer to his parents, so I'd be shocked if he can't find a club that wants him between L4 and BS3.
Plus he's on at least £40k a week at Liverpool and surely the only Championship clubs that could afford him are those getting parachute payments or those that are run by massive financial doping. Oh, hang on...
I wouldn't hate him if he joined them, though. Who wants to be like that fat Chelsea fan with the home made sign when Lampard went back?
