Think we need to keep our powder dry here. In my opinion silence would be best for now.....and wait and see what happens. We could mess it up, they could mess it up. No one knows. As we know from last season there are twists and turns right up to the end.

think we all need to gather one's senses here, They have upped their game to hit and run,and straight out of the blocks as against Halifax, caught them cold and reaped the benefit, IF their next oppo's can frustrate them then they may well get tetchy and hit the panic button, but nor forgetting that Rovers HAVE to win both remaining games to be sure of gaining top spot in the event of a busybee failure

So what if they're gobby? Who cares?
We have achieved a play off place at least. That's tv coverage, increased profile, bit extra quid, and at least one more time you got to spend 90mins+, with friends and/or family.
Maybe even a day out at Wembley..
Of course most of us would happily sacrifice that, whom the hell cares about a team that think they rival us when really no gashead gives them more thought than an early morning fart...yes it's there and guess everyone has to deal with it, but as you get on with job in question, soon all forgotten..
*Yawn!*
*Fart...*

For what it's worth I think they will get even more gobby after Saturday - to my mind Kidderminster are in disarray on and off the pitch and we have a much harder game at Dover and more likely to drop points than Barnet. Don't think we will mind and so expecting nothing to change re the league placings come Saturday night. Now the 25th is a different matter as do think Gateshead are far more likely to get something v Barnet and I can only see us winning so maybe that's when we shut them up - here's hoping anyway !!!

We had the opportunity to go top and stay there on our own terms, unfortunately we didn't take it. If Barnet win the league, they will have earned the right to go up as champions. Lets show a bit of class by showing Barnet the respect they deserve if they finish top. Lets not forget they get a quarter of the support we get, presumably a quarter of the budget we make and are surrounded by well supported Premiership teams. They have to scrap for everything they get, it will be a remarkable achievement for them to overcome 'a club of our size' !

There a few on our forum who are a bit hostile towards you after some arrogant remarks by a minority regarding our attendances/support. It was a few Grimsby fans as well. So any jabs at Rovers are probably because of that. 1 defeat in 27 is it? That's pretty admirable and if you do snatch it, we would only have ourselves to blame. it would be deserved anyway for your form since Christmas and the fact you're in this position even though you only went down last year. I'm silently confident we'll do it though but we'll see.

Not sure you can even blame yourselves as I sense over 90 pts would have got either team promoted in the past?
It's odd really that 3 teams have been so dominant this season when the Conference seems to be getting stronger.
Although getting promoted is this season's battle, if we're both in Div 2 next season then I doubt it'll be us struggling to stay up!

Whoever wins it this year will have a lower than average total for winning the division.
What evidence is there that the Conference is getting "stronger"? Its been garbage this season!

Actually, recent seasons have seen 100+ points as the norm for the champions. Wrexham got 98 points in 2012 and still didn't go up

That is worrying as Wrexham are a good side and they have struggled, just goes to show how important it is to get out this horrible division at the first crack I think Wrexham will be right up there next season like us they can beat anyone on their day

The league has been too unpredictable this year meaning table positions have meant nothing. It's because of this reason it's been weaker, not because there's been no runaway winner. And we do have ourselves to blame if we don't win it.If the 8 point lead we had on NYD had been more or less maintained, we would be celebrating right now. Plus the fact it's been in our hands the whole season apart from 3 games in August.
