Was Sinclair's injury caused by being "rushed back too soon"? MY opinion yes. He had been out for a while and returns immediately into the 1st team and around 20 minutes in he gets stretchered off injured. MY opinion is that the length of time that he was out for prior to his return, he should have started on the bench or even given an extra week. If he had started on the bench or even given another week, he wouldnt have been stretchered off around 20 minutes into his returned game. When Easter returned from his injury, he wasnt rushed back into the starting 11. When he returned back, he started on the bench. Again, MY opinion, he was rushed back too soon.

Did you see how Sinclair was injured on his return? Yes. But whats that got to do with a bag of chips? My point (that I thought was clear) is he shouldnt have been on the pitch in the first place. Again, just MY opinion. Obviously you disagree. Fair enough.

. . . but the fact remains that he didn't appear at Kidderminster, so was he rested for that game . . . or what? I just find it strange that there has been no official comment from the club on his injury (or not, of course), other than the above quote which was made immediately after the Chester game finished. I get that, I was just stating he jarred his knee as that hadnt been stated yet on here, only hurt his knee. It came across that you didnt know this as you said yourself you may have missed it. I was just trying to fill in one of the blank spaces for you. Going by what Darrell said I would have guessed missing Kidderminster was understandable as too soon after Chester but would be back for Southport. However if he is having scans this week, maybe he wont be back. An update would be nice but maybe Darrell dont want it out in the open as could be a tactical surprise? I just hope he is not rushed back too soon like Sinclair was in my opinion. . . . and much appreciated it was too upthegas, my apologies to you if I came across as pedantic, which wasn't my intention by the way. I suppose that we'll all just have to wait and see eh? Thank goodness there's only three games to go, unless we have to endure the play-offs as well.

I don't think that the player was match-fit, which I believe contributed to his injury despite being the type of injury that it was.

No, quite the opposite, I explained myself as I didnt want you to think I was taking the Micky!

Taylor had a poor first half of the season, he didn't score enough goals and the ones he did were mainly penalties.
Since November, he's been in great form. 17 goals for the season is a good return and he'll hopefully get a few more yet.

That's the reason why I am a bit confused, because when he left the field he appeared to be walking normally and reluctant to go, and the general feeling that it was precautionary on the managers part. But there does seem to be a news blackout. Are suggesting a conspiracy briz? I know for a fact that If there was a conspiracy then someone on here would be 'in the know' and would be saying they know something but not actually telling us anything. But they haven't so there isn't.

More an assumption than an opinion, flavoured with lots of hindsight. Clarke & the rest would have based their decision on watching Sinclair in training, which you were not at, and on physical testing which you are not party to.
Sinclair's injury may just be an unlucky coincidence - you can't possibly know from behind a keyboard.
