So a bloke got convicted for racially abusing Jason Brown after all.
Glad the club acted swiftly after the initial incident to lessen the impact on our image, as failure to do so would look a bit silly now, post conviction.
Well done Rovers.

Thanks for the link, and I'm pleased that the matter was prosecuted and a conviction obtained against this chap. In the circumstances I'm surprised that the court case hasn't had more publicity, but perhaps it's early days and there may be more to follow. Judging by the fact that Jason Brown was only informed of the decision by post, I assume that the hearing was held in the Bristol area and the chap must have pleaded guilty, but I do wonder why we haven't heard more about the case in the local press? But the outcome does appear to be a better one for the player than his previous experience in Aberdeen, not that a conviction (and court fees and compensation) can compensate for this sort of behaviour. Very sad all round.

Well done Avon and Somerset Police. The club should have reported this (but in their defence may not have been told yet). What is worrying is a player has no confidence in Kick It Out. Think an overhaul maybe needed.
