If there is a chance that two teams will win the league on the same day, where does the trophy go? This season will be my first watching Rovers win a championship and I can't wait but it would be dissapointing if we don't lift the trophy on the day we win it. Can somebody tell me what usually happens?
We should easily beat Kidderminster, they sound bad at the moment. Then the next few should be straight forward compared to Barnet who WILL NOT gain maximum points.

Utter nonsense Kidderminster beat Braintree in their last home game and drawing at Telford today relegated them, they're clearly not the Conference whipping boys. Then the Dover game will be a real tough one as they are impressive at home and could still have a chance of making the Play Off when we play them. Regardless if we get promoted does it really matter if we are handed the trophy or not when we do it?

Exactly, I couldn't care less if we get presented a trophy, lets just be top of the league at the end of the final game of the season. I'll be quite happy for Barnet or Grimsby to have the trophy providing of course it doesn't mean they've won it

Who could possibly object? If you don't remember 1990, do you remember 2000? The answer 'no' is quite a depressing thought, actually: some people think this is all routine. Opening day of 2015/16 would suit me just fine, if appropriate.

I believe there is a replica trophy so will be available to send to two stadiums. Otherwise they might have to ask Noel Edmunds to borrow his helicoptor

A trophy ? please let this be a joke, the thought of the players parading around the pitch with a trophy is more humiliating than getting relegated.

I know what you mean, and personally I will be more relieved than jubilant IF we do go up. However, it is all relative, whereas you and I may believe we are two divisons (arguably three) below where we 'should' be, many younger supporters will not have that same feeling, and if they want to enjoy it, then great. Personally if we do do it, I shall be straight off to the pub for a pint, and think to myself 'thank f**k that's over'

Anneka Rice will stay equidistant between the two grounds and as the the last day ebbs and flows she will move towards whichever ground looks more likely with the trophy.

Of course its good to win a trophy and something to be proud about if we do get back at the first attempt. We are here for a reason and it would be no more embarrassing than winning League 2. You can only win the League you are in. Like others on here say we have won NOTHING yet and anybody who thinks ANY of the remaining games are easy know nothing about football and the pressure that is on all the players involved at this stage. I hope they do turn out to be easy but somehow I doubt it knowing Rovers!!

I can understand people's feelings about not wanting to go crazy over a trophy (IF we win it!)
But... it would rank as the biggest achievement of many of our players' careers (so far..). And I'd like to see them enjoy it if it happens.

Sorry Steve,IF they win the division I wont be proud and I wont be celebrating,I will feel pleased, happy and above all relieved. I do agree when you say that's it not all over yet,its a 3 horse race and we are 2nd,looks like the play offs right now but we just have to battle on,hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Oh right yes the trophy, good point. Really dissapointing if we don't get the trophy. Will we also be able to pick up our 'Vanarama Conference Champions 2014/15" Rovers shirts from the club shop a week before we win the trophy?
Personally so long as we are actually champions I wouldnt care if they presented us a dog turd so long as it's got a blue and white ribbon on it. And ticker tape, I love ticker tape.

Reply to OP: There is more than one Trophy. I'm fairly sure if all 3 of us can still win it on the 25th, then there will be one here, one in Grimsby and one in Barnet.

We are about to win a division in English football's league system. Non league or not, I think it is a significant part of our history. It is a bit disrespectful and comes across billy big balls to not pay the event the respect it deserves and brush it off as something of an embarrasment. More so, what message does that send to the players who have worked very hard all season to win a bloody difficult league? "Thanks for getting our League status back, but let's not make a fuss, we'd rather not dwell on it." I think the team and DC deserve a heck of a lot more than that.
